I Can Right Angle Weave: From Basic Stitch to Advanced Techniques, a Comprehensive Workbook for Beaders (I Can Series)

I am a newbie beader & as such, whenever I look at the popular beading magazines or other instructional books, I normally find the stitching diagrams & instructions totally mind-boggling. This author states in her Introduction that she deliberately made the effort to provide the simplest & clearest diagrams & text possible to make them understandable. She succeeded beautifully!! I am reading this wonderful book & I can clearly comprehend & follow the information as it unfolds for each project. These projects seem completely doable to me & I can't wait to get started. She has limited the projects to easy to find materials that won't break your budget. I like her style very much & I love how the intricacy of her projects progress in a simple non-intimidating manner to gradually builds the reader's skills. I CAN Right Angle Weave was indeed the perfect title for this book!

A workbook approach with great, step by step illustrations. The first projects teach basics, then you practice by creating simple components. Modifications and enhancements are then taught with increasing complexity. Designs are included to use the components to make some lovely pieces. I was so pleased with the book that I plan to buy others in the series as they become available. (One on Herringbone stitch is available now, with others planned.)A super way to learn yourself, or use it to teach others Right Angle Weave!

I just received my book! Just what I wanted! Very detailed various levels. I am just learning, clear instructions. Browsing the book the projects are scaled nicely from beginners to advance. Nice illustrations for visual learners.I so excited to get a project going. From the looks of it, I would recommend this book. I have I can Herringbone, I borrowed it from the library, I hope to purchase it in the near future this is a nice collection from Lark.

I think that right angle weave can be one of the most challenging beading stitch. Melissa Grakowsky does an excellent job introducing you to the stitch. Each pattern takes you to the next level. Awesome book - well illustrated.

I rated this book five-star because Ms. Fitzgerald took a pattern that I had always regarded as being very advanced, and broke it down from well-illustrated simple beginnings, all the way through much more complicated designs. Each lesson and design built on the previous one, so I was able to go back and forth when necessary to see where I had gone wrong, and review the correct steps. I have only had this book for a month or so, but am now able to say that yes, I can right-angle weave.In the past I have purchased some beading books that ended up as "Coffee Table" books because, while the designs were beautiful, the instructions weren't clear enough for me to advance to the point where I could complete a pattern, or in some cases the supplies needed were hard to find, or too expensive.I look forward to using Now I Can Right Angle Weave to make some special gifts for friends and family - and of course for myself!

This book is very helpful. There are easy to follow directions along with detailed diagrams for each step. The author is a very gifted teacher. I'll be looking for more of her books.

Although I am a prolific beader, I have always avoided RAW. So, when I received this book I decided to overcome my aversion. I am now making a third Egyption Collar and I am starting to enjoy the stitch. I am better able to find errors and count and my tension is improving. Plus, this design is VERY beautiful. I made a Maybeline Gidez bracelet in the past and I'm looking forward to making the bracelet patterns in the book. I strongly recommend this book to beaders at all levels. You won't be disappointed.

This a must have. Great diagrams and patterns. Very adaptable to other projects. Love it!

Lovely book. Very clear instructions. Variety for different abilities of beaders. Thoroughly recommend. I have made two of the items already and am about to begin my third.

Obwohl ich die im Buch erklärte Perlenverarbeitungstechnik seit längerem beherrsche, habe ich es trotzdem gekauft.Ein paar Schmuckstücke haben mich in der Vorschau sehr angesprochen und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht.Die Anleitungen sind in Wort und Bild, Schritt für Schritt erklärt. Für jene, die nicht Englisch können, dürfte es trotzdem keineProbleme geben, Ohrringe, Ringe, Anhänger und Halsketten aus dem Buch nachzuarbeiten. Die Gliederung erfolgt vonSchwierigkeitsstufe eins bis vier. Der einzige für mich kleine Minuspunkt ist, es werden in fast jedem Projekt sehr viele Schliff- bzw.Kristallperlen verarbeitet, was kostspielig ist.

説明は図解が良く載っていて分かり易い方だと思いますが、中身検索で見ていいなと感じた作品がギャラリーとして写真しか載っていませんでした。自分の注意不足かもしれませんが、期待していた分、残念感が大きかったです。

"I Can Right Angle Weave" ist ein absolutes " must have".Die einzelnen bebilderten Schritte sind klar verständlich abgebildet, sodass dass es einfach ist diese wunderschönen Stücke nachzufädeln. Man braucht keine großen Englischkenntnisse sondern kann sich gut an den Schritt für Schritt Bildern orientieren. Habe schon das Eine oder Andere nachgefädelt und bin happy: Sehr empfehlenswert.
