Great quality tool
Super handy for light weight trimming. They do have a more heavy duty one so make which one fits your needs. You will need a battery and charger unless you already have them for other Milwaukee tools.

Best battery rotary tool on the market
When it comes to powetools, a cordless tool with ample power and a system that doesn't leave you waiting when the juice is all dried up, is for a multitude of reasons the way to go. Your free of being on leash that restricts the setting of the work, your place on the stage, and how natural, effective and comfortable a pose you strike when dancing with the material. Not to mention the cord is the most vulnerable part of a tool, and usually weak point that ends up shelfing a tool. When it comes to work with a dremel, compact and ergonomic is important for doing good detail work, a cord gets I'm the way. Work with a rotary tool is often a sustained output of the tools power for long periods of time. For these reasons thus m12 rotary tool blows the others out of the water. It has a range of gentle cares to eat through the material faster than a knife. The m12 batteries are separate and come I'm the straight handle design for a very compact and ergonomic completion. The non-OBO batteries can be purchased on Amazon as generic from a variety of manufacturers and sellers for as little as just over 20$ for two batteries. Having a built in battery means down time, and most of them take a lot longer to charge than they do to depleat, m12 can keep the work constant and has am overkill of potential power for what is typical to be provided to a cordless rotary tool. This is a tradsmans answer to a craftsperson's essential. From the legendary line of Milwaukee tools.

No original box
Don’t know why came without the original box. It looks good and milwaukee quality. I hope that is not refurbish even that it looks new and the description mention it was new. Have to wait for a m12 battery to test the tool because is my first m12 tool and i only have m18. As a milwaukee fan i expected everything including the original box same way a the hardware store but can’t complain because was cheaper than local.

Great rotary tool
I upgraded to this tool when my reliable Dremel gave up the ghost after twenty years. I opted for the Milwaukee based on reviews and the modular battery system, and I am happy I did. It does a great job, the variable speed selector is a godsend, and all in all, it feels tough and reliable. Be aware that you need to have the 12v battery, as well as a charger.

Outstanding rotary tool!
Milwaukee fanboi here, and heavily invested in their M18 platform. This is my first tool that is from their M12 platform, and it doesn't disappoint.I purchased the tool-only version of the rotary tool, and I got a package of 2 M12 batteries from Amazon as well. Honestly with the tool and 2 batteries, I only paid slightly higher than I would have paid for the tool-only at my local box store. Since I have a good number of M18 tools, I have the M18 chargers that charge both the M18 and M12 batteries. If this is your first Milwaukee tool, you'll need an M12 battery AND a charger with this tool. The tool did come with a small wrench, so not a completely tool-free chuck, and a few cutting discs, which isn't clear in the product description to my recollection. Nevertheless, I did also purchase a set of Dremel cutting, sanding, and polishing attachments I could also use with the Milwaukee.Attaching and removing the bits is very easy. Simply press the lock button, and use the small wrench to loosen or tighten the chuck to secure or remove the disc holder. Changing discs is similarly easy, as you just unscrew the flathead screw holding the disc to the holder and change it out.The tool is powerful, and is speed-adjustable. The best part though, is that it has an auto-shutoff feature if the motor gets to bogged down or heated. It'll work again in a few seconds, but it's just the tool's way of protecting the longevity of the motor. Besides, you don't want to crank down hard on your material. Just apply a light to medium steady pressure, and let the tool do the work.Great purchase, and I highly recommend it and other Miulwaukee

Cordless; the only way to go..
Being a user of a "dremel" tool for many years (non cordless, with extension wand) it was always a great little tool when you needed it, but setting it up and putting it away, especially with the extended cable arm, was always a pain.. Now, to be clear, the extension wand on the corded dremel tool is a real necessity when you have to get into very small or intricate spaces...However, for the mainstay of those types of jobs, this M12 battery powered Rotary Tool from Milwaukee does the job, and very conveniently...Nice part was mostly all my dremel bits fit with the chuck that came with this..RPM's are great, and with a cutting head this thing can go the distance for those small, precise rotary tool type jobs. I used it to cut off 1/2" case hardened bolt heads with a thin abrasive wheel. Took some time and patience, but it did a fantastic job (Yah, I mean, abrasive wheel's break or shatter, but easily replaced to keep going). Even with a 4.0 M12 the tool didn't seem to run out of juice (Small motor).. I recently purchased a 6.0 M12 and that lasts even longer.. Also nice that with the square end M12 batteries you can just prop it up on its end when you're not using it..I expect this to last, as usual, forever with the M series Milwaukee's..Tip, when you naturally hold it your grip will want to cover the vent holes, just be aware of that and to not plug them up with your hand, tool should function fine and cool itself if you don't cover them.
