Why is amazon price gauding certain things?

Maybe it's got something to do with the price they have to pay for it. If their supplier goes up, then Amazon has to go up.

can someone tell me if it says 100% for adult cats & kittens, on the side of the can.

It says "100% complete nutrition for adult cats". There is nothing about feeding it to kittens.

I've ordered this a couple times now. Each time it looked discolored. The expiration date is fine. Was it stored improperly and gone bad?

I've never had that problem with any of my orders. I've had numerous dented cans with the boxes I've ordered. Only the manafacturer or where it's stored would more than likely be able to answer your question. I would try for a refund of your money or exchange.
