I am someone who loves to experiment with different oils. I do much research and found sweet almond oil good for our skin. I can mix this oil with a heavier one or use for a lighter touch on its own. It is moisturizing, light, and makes my skin soft. The smell is subtle and I enjoy it. Great quality for the price as well.

Great for body rub

My understanding is that Almond Oil (a good quality pure product) will help with aging skin. I tried other oils but this one is already showing signs of improvement in a week. Very pleased!! It is very liquid(y) so I blend it with lotion in my hand. The pump is an extra bonus. I recommend! Helps mainly with crinkly skin but I put it all over. :)

I've been using oils instead of lotion for some time now, and this may be my favorite. I love that it's pure sweet almond oil. The scent is not very noticeable; I guess it does have some sweet scent to it, but I could be making it up—I feel it's not that striking or noticeable! This hydrates my skin, and like any other oil, it IS going to leave your skin a oily. I do find that I need to take some time to let it sink into my skin before I wear tight clothes. I also find the container and pump to work well—I've had several issues where the pump would spit the oil out with great force or just break off before I started using it. So I'd say everything about this is fantastic and as I expected. I love this oil for moisturizing my baby's dry skin. It is great for hands and cuticles too, which was lovely as my hands are often dry and cracking from hand sanitizer use at work. There's no scent or odor to the oil and it's more lightweight than I expected. It absorbs quickly, but is ideal for overnight use.

This does seem like a good quality oil, but is overpriced compared to similar non-organic sweet almond oils at the time of my review and price of $20. It was a clear oil and did not have any noticeable smell, which seems to be a good thing. My understanding is that sweet almond oil shouldn’t have a strong scent, and that also means it was fresh and not rancid. I appreciate that it was packaged in a dark brown glass bottle to avoid plastic contamination and to keep the oil from light which would make it go rancid faster. I was also super glad to have the pump included as trying to pour any kind of oil out of these type of bottles usually leaves a mess dripping down the sides and this included pump solves that. I found it was slow to absorb, so you can’t use it as a moisturizer and immediately put clothes on over it. However, compared to something like castor oil which I can still feel on my skin hours later, this did eventually fully absorb so that you don’t feel it. Overall I am pleased with this oil and perceived quality, I just think it is comparatively overpriced so I can’t say that I would repurchase it.
