KVM cables saved the day. Don't know why Tripp Lite doesn't sell the cables with the KVM itself.

Even though this product has to be ordered separately from Tripp Lite B042-004 4-Port KVM switch it is perfect for what I needed in a USB-PS/2 combination cable. Clean ,neat, and clutter free !

Seems to work fine, but be aware the 6' only applies to the video cable. The keyboard and mouse cables are only about 18" which is pretty stupid for them to be a different length than the video at all, much less that short.
