Arrived looking brand new. I’ve had Chromebooks in the past, but I have always been disappointed and would tend to keep my distance due to lack of speed, storage, screen vibrance, and overall lack of responsiveness. This Chromebook, however, changed that. It’s super snappy quick with the Intel i3 and 8GB of RAM. It has plenty of storage, so I can finally use the Linux feature. I downloaded the Linux version of Firefox and it ACTUALLY loads. I can play games on it smoothly like Minecraft and other Android games with no issues. (I believe this Chromebook actually supports Steam, but I haven’t tested it.) The battery life has been great. The touchscreen is super responsive, however a little awkward since the screen doesn’t fold all the way back, but it’s there if needed which is nice. It also has an amazing backlit keyboard. I love typing on it. The trackpad is also smooth and plenty large enough. The build material feels really nice and It’s got a nice weight to it, but also nothing crazy. It just feels premium for a Chromebook, if that makes sense. I’m very glad I got this and at such a good price!

I bought this used CX34 about 2 weeks ago as a replacement for my 3 year old Samsung chromebook. The Samsung with its celery processor just couldn't handle even my lite duty usage. It couldn't do zoom calls at all! The Asus chromebook plus handles all my normal uses with ease. My uses include web browsing, using Google docs, reviewing news articles and weekly Zooming. It runs as fast as any Windows Mac desktop that i have used. But, according to reviews this chromebook would not be the best choice for gaming or serious photo work. Battery life is just OK. In standby mode with lid closed it loses about 7-8% per day which I consider good, similar my Android tablet and my wife's iPad. In light to moderate use probably good for 7-8 hrs. But the real test is Zooming where it uses 65% for a 2 hrs session. This is so so, adequate for my needs. My Android and iPad used about 50% in these sessions. I would probably dock it a half star for the battery. Don't know if it a new version would be better or not. Otherwise, keypad, track pad,and touchscreen would well. Screen is plenty bright for inside usage. Overall good buy so far.

Great computer for the price. Bought 3 so each of my kids can do their schoolwork 6,8,9yo) Touch screen, fast, very good parental controls.

Nice chromebook

Ordered for my son for Christmas. Working great! He’s used it a lot and the battery seems to last forever. It was easy to set up and the keyboard lighting up is a plus. Touch screen works great. Great value for the money!

i would recommend this Chromebook had to give it three stars,because the one i received 11/8/2025 ,didn't work .ordered another one,and i just got it today 11/22/2025.works well.i'm just a bit sour over the first one not working.that's why the three stars.for the record i have had many reconditioned Chromebooks.and this was the first time i had an issue....once i receive a full refund ,i will change my rating. did receive refund on the first one of these chrome books i ordered...now am extremely pleased with the product.and the way the seller handled my return

This is the first refurbished Chromebook I've bought in the past decade. Cosmetically, it's as if it's brand new. The only way I could tell it had been used is the battery life is only around 4-5 hours. Though TBF that may have to do with something in the settings I use. For me, that's not an issue as the only places I use it allow me to connect to a charger, which I do when the battery status drops to 20%. So this is perfect for my needs, and a bargain price compared to the C434 Flex 2-in-1 it's replacing.

Worked well for 20 days and then the screen went black and would not power up. In process and returning and receiving replacement chromebook. Over the years I have had success with different Amazon Refurbished items... this is the first one I have returned.
