The product does not work!
Big caution - the set do not work. The sticks will not screw into the head. They are such poor quality. And when you send them back, you have to spend two-thirds of the value of the product and the retailer will not reimburse you. Do not buy!

‘Toyrific’ Garden Games Wooden Croquet Set
I believe that this Wooden Croquet set is meant more for children than adult players. Unquestionably suitable for children, but below par for adult players. The weight of the mallet head is too light for adults to use, and the handle not that robust. The obvious thing to do would be to have the proper adult equipment and smaller mallets for younger children. In short, this is a reasonable Croquet set for children to play with, nonetheless, the adults may be a tad disenchanted with the set.

Flimsy and unusable after one yse
Admittedly the croquet set is only a cheap set, however , for the price I would still expect it to last for more than one use.The hoops are just long pieces of metal that you are expected to bend yourself- making it hard to make them look the part. The mallets and balls are made of wood that is just too soft for their purpose. They were used for one game and are already dented and damaged (without being used roughly)

It's for fun!
It’s funny how everyone’s heard of croquet but so few people play! This little set is aimed at the novelty market (some sets on Amazon are over four times the price of this one) and it’s really good. There’s a nice bag to keep everything in and it will be fun for the whole family. I’m not sure if it will work on the beach but someone will give it a try! There’s some minor assembly required (hammer heads on to shafts) but apart from that it’s ready to go. Remember, this is a cheap set. It’s for fun and I’m sure there will be many variations on the real thing from some inventive families. I’ve given it five stars because it doesn’t pretend to be a professional set and it more than serves its purpose. Have fun!
