Have been using fo 10 days on my burn and have seen improvements, it takes time definitely a slow process, since you only apply once at night only you feel like it's takes more time to work. 4 stars so far because scar isn't fully gone yet. Added a collage of the process first three picture were wen the burn was recent (so you can see the severity) didn't start using mederma until scab was gone

This product truly changed my life. I don’t usually write reviews but I felt so compelled to and I’m so grateful for this product that I had to. I’m only sorry I didn’t take before and after pictures of my face while using this product... the reason being nothing has ever worked for me (home remedies, dermatologist antibiotics, over the counter medicines, etc etc etc).I’m 24 years old and have always struggled with anxiety and minor acne. Part of having the two was a very bad skin picking habit and this always left scars on my face. For as long as I can remember (starting in MIDDLE SCHOOL), I wore makeup to cover it up; very counter-productive as makeup leads to more breakouts, but it was my only saving grace to hide the scars. I learned to hate makeup because it was a chore and it wasn’t me...it felt fake. I had to wear it to the gym, I wore it to bed so my boyfriend wouldn’t see my face if he woke up before me, I had to wear it to the beach and water parks and neglect myself of getting a decent tan - all of these things other girls didn’t have to wear makeup for but I had to. I was ashamed, I cried, I couldn’t stand looking at myself in the mirror. There were days more often than not that I couldn’t even leave my house. I begged my dermatologist to do surgery. I begged for a miracle cream...nothing seemed to help me.I came across this product on Amazon one day - not even sure how I came across it but after reading the reviews, I gave it a shot. I was desperate because my boyfriend’s family invited me to go camping for a week and god knows there was no way makeup was going to fly.In a week of using this product, my skin became bearable to look at. A month later, I’m not even using coverup to hide a blemish or a scar. There is still some VERY faint evidence of scarring but not unless you examine my fave thoroughly. This has literally saved my life. It gave me motivation to keep my hands away from my face as I was FINALLY seeing progress. My anxiety about my face is gone. I’ve gone to Splish Splash and the beach without makeup. My face actually got a TAN.All I can say is this product is gold. Thank you for giving me my life back.

The active ingredient in this cream is Dimethicone 2.0%. This ingredient is a silicone oil used in many different products with a percentage strength variance of Dimethicone 2.0% to Dimethicone 6.0%.For skin care products, this product fills in uneven texture and fine lines, which helps create a smooth look in products like primers, foundations, and lotions. It also provides a protective cover on the skin, which is supposed to help keep moisture in, leaving skin hydrated for longer.Dimethicone 2.0% covers the skin. Manufacturers tout this as a benefit. It's like having a thin, rubber-like cover over your face all night. However, this product neither feels slimy nor stains the pillows.Hence, if you only use this product, you are missing out on moisturizing ingredients like natural oils, extracts, and shea butter and you're interfering with the skin's natural process of : sweating, temperature regulating, and sloughing off dead skin cells. So, I use this at night and natural ingredients during the day. Since using the product at night, my scars from having a very bad case shingles on the head are getting better. I moved up to Dimethicone 6.0%. in another product and have seen even better scar results. The product is:Coloplast Sween 24 Once a Day Moisturizing Body Cream For Normal, Dry, Flaky and Itchy Skin (2) 5oz Tubesby Sween 24I neither work for these companies nor get paid to write Amazon reviews. This cream works well, but there are other products with the same active ingredient, higher active ingredient strengths, less marketing and a decreased cost based on product volume at the time of this writing.

Probado en una cicatriz facial profunda.En una semana se observa cierta mejoría, aunque no milagros.Actualizaré la opinión al terminar el producto si veo que hay interés.Actualizada opinión a 26/04/20, notable mejoría en la cicatriz después de tanto tiempo de uso. Ha reducido a la mitad la marca que tenia en la cara.Lo recomiendo. Ha mejorado mi imagen y mi autoestima.Un saludo.

This produxt worked best for me. I have tried tons of scar creams after my thyroidectomy and had I only found this one out to try sooner than later, my scar could have been better. Even at more than 3 months postsurgery, the cream hydrates and still helped soften and flatten my scar with just a sibgle application daily!

Es muy comoda de usar, y en poco tiempo he notado una gran diferencia, es el segundo bote que compro y estoy muy satisfecha con el producto

Lo usé religiosamente en una cicatriz nueva, no me sirvió.

Mi cicatriz ha mejorado notablemente especialmente la mitad se ha desvanecido mucho también uso mederma para uso diario y sigo con mucho espero y constancia diariamente
