While she likes hers, I can’t say I’ve been very pleased with mine. I think the difference is use. While we both use the gloves in kickboxing workout’s 3x week, I do hit the bags harder but I’m by no means the hardest hitter in the Dojo. The thumb seam came undone and ripped. I found the wrist support weak and I had to pull my punches or I felt I’d injure my wrist. Again, my wife had no problems. Both of us found them to be a comfortable glove. Finally, the size. They ran quite a bit small. 8” around my palm when fisted, I usually take a Medium.
