The keychain is great: sturdy, attractive, well-made. The carabiner-style clips are Goldilocks: not to easy and not too hard to open, but rather, just right. I like the greyish color (it has a bit of brown to it but it's not bronze, thank goodness). How awesome it comes with two rings for holding standard keys or a charm. The figure-8 body is too wide for a regular key's top hole (that's why you need the extra ring) but it's perfect for a modern car key. When I take the car for service or have to valet park, all I do is pop off the car key with a simple press of the clip, and I can take my keychain with me! My reason for the star ambivalence is the weight. It's a tad heavier than I expected. That said, the weight means it really is sturdy. The weight means the metal isn't hollow thin so it's unlikely to break. In the end, it's such a whiny issue on my part, the extra heft, I'm going with the five stars. I'll gladly take a sturdy, sexy keychain with a little extra weight in my purse. Review: heavy material, strong springs, excellent functionality - This is significantly heavier than most key-chains with strong, tight springs. I am not worried at all of it opening on it's own and losing keys. It is extremely functional and well made. The only complaint I have with it is the coating. As shown in my pictures, I have used coated metal before and know that eventually with use the coating will come off but I am surprised at how quickly the coating faded. The coating started to come off 3 months after I started using it, even though I only carry my keys to and from work and set them down on a desk & counter when I'm not using them. Even with that small complaint, I would still recommend this item to others if they were looking for functionality and weren't concerned with aesthetics. New design good so far! *by N***E on November 12, 2021* Felt strong and sturdy but the one clasp broke in less than two weeks. Waste of money.
