Nose Wax Kit for Men and Women, Nose Hair Removal Wax

As a gentleman of advancing years, I found the hair on my head migrating south, choosing instead to live in my nostrils and ears. I have one of those hygienic clippers, which were getting heavy usage, as word spread of how comfortable my orifices were. I saw this being done on the tube of You and it was the claims of hair free faceholes for weeks at a time that drew me in, despite the fear of pain. The kit comes with a load of those little pots used in fast food restaurants, for ketchup and mustard; a bag of wax pellets, which have a lovely fragrance (thankfully, considering where it was going to end up); a little beaker for microwave melting and a bag of sticks for you to..well, stick up your nose. Wax melts easily in the ketchup pot, which goes on top of the beaker that has a little water in it, all popped in the microwave. Once melted, it's a skill to get the right amount of wax on the stick, but once done, they were inserted. It grips quicker than something that grips really quick and the terror that when I removed it, half my brain was going to come with it intensified. I needn't have worried. One quick yank and it was done. It wasn't totally pain free, but then it was just more of an uncomfortable tugging sensation than actual pain. I was utterly disgusted and delighted in equal measure at the amount of hair it removed, I thought I had rescued a hedgehog at first. It left my nostrils and ears completely free of hair, unlike the clippers which can miss bits. If it's ease, convenience and speed you're looking for, then I do recommend this wax kit as it leaves your holes hair free for weeks, and who doesn't want that?

The product is pretty straightforward to use; pour some of the wax into the cup (provided), heat it over water measured out in the jug (provided) for 90 seconds in the microwave (not provided but that would be asking a lot for a tenner), put the wax on the applicators (provided) and shove them up your nose. You then stand there for two minutes while your better half looks at you like you've lost your marbles and your daughter pleads with you to let her be the one who yanks them out (I compromised and let her watch as I did it). When it came to pulling them out I tried doing both at once but I think I lacked conviction and only managed one though having some of the wax on the skin under my nose and pulling stubble out may have played a part(it hurt; the kit comes with moustache guards and I recommend using them even if you haven't underlined your nose). I wouldn't go as far as to say the removal process is painless but looking down at the little hedgehogs you have created makes it worth the discomfort and there was enough wax left to do my ear hairs too; I just used the other end of the applicators. The kit says that there is enough wax for ten uses and that looks about right so it works out pretty cheap. If you have reached that time of life where the hair on your head has decided to migrate to your nose and ears I would recommend getting this product.

Remarkable how much this takes off. This works but a word of warning , follow the instructions to the letter as I nearly had one stuck once.

After reading some of the reviews I was bemused basically great or crap ! I was pleasantly surprised very easy to use, the instructions were followed to the letter and were spot on. Being at an age where my ears and nose have developed a mind of their own with an almost miracle grow induced growth rate - enough was enough, my wife pointing out what she lovingly described as ‘spiders legs’ protruding from my nostrils was always an ice breaking conversation piece with ‘her friends’. I tried each nostril, one with the microwave method of melting the wax and the other with the boiling water (45secs) was fine in the microwave....with a gung-ho best nostril forward approach I dipped the applicator into the wax and applied exactly the amount shown in the diagram - inserted into the nostril and rotated slightly and squeezed the nostril tight onto the wax - 2 minutes later and one quick pull with no discomfort the applicator was removed, I was astounded how much hair was removed and how smooth the ‘vent’ had been left no reddening or inflammation !! The amount of hair was bemusing but impressive I cannot recommend this product enough

Does remove all the hair but it takes 2 attempts per nostril. Worryingly I cant smell as much is I could previously. I'm not sure if that's does to no hair for the odours to stick to or if it's something else. If i spray aftershave onto my hand I can only smell it if it's about 30cm away. Any further and it's not working. It might just be my nose needs 24hours to settle down order the sudden clear out after 39 years... Well I hope that's all it is. That's why I giving the product 3 stars. I will try and update in a few days

Fantastic! Whips all those unwanted whiskers up your hooter in a second. (At the grand old age of 57 my body has decided that rather that what I really need is hair growing out of every orifice instead of on my extremely shiny head) Minimal discomfort, just a pair of what look like bog brushes for a dolls house and nice unhairy nostrils. Yes, the paper cup you melt the wax in goes floppy but easily resolved by replacing it with a plastic one and if you really want to recycle the things you stuff up your nose you can pour boiling water over them. Some people have reported pain using this and I have to admit to some trepidation before getting stuck in (pun intended) but by whipping them out fast it's no problem. Very pleased with the results! Just my hairy ears to deal with now........

This is not a good product. I tried the NADS product a long time ago now and you get a pot of wax to put in the microwave and that works very well. This one gives you paper cups and you have to put your own wax in which would be fine and even better as you would actually get more goes out of it. However the wax isnt as good and doesnt putt the hair out as good. I just had a nighmear with it to be honest. Go with the NADS or any other that gives you the microwave pot to microwave. Just something else to note. Dont try and use the microwave pots again because again just like with the the wax quality is not the same and doesnt pull the hair out as good. Just my experience.

After using a traditional electric nose trimmer for years, struggling to keep cleaning it out because its not working or flat batteries, also pushing it into the nose for ages trying to get it all out, and never actually managing to, i decided to man up and give waxing a try, damn i cant believe how easy they are to use and prepare , No Mess, No Fuss, and I was thinking once they were inserted damn this was a bad idea, but after pulling them quickly, the pain is minimal! and the results speak for them self, no hair at all! shocking, i will only ever wax my nose from now on, bye bye electric trimmer! :)

Man hat mit einem Ruck eine von diesen lästigen, beim Atmen vibrierenden Härchen freie Nase. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Es geht schnell, es tut nicht weh, es ist sparsam im Gebrauch, und es ist ungleich gründlicher als die bisher verwendete Pinzette.

Easy, quick and effective I loved this product. The kit comes with everything you need and the instructions are very clear. The process was fast, almost painless, and lasts much longer than trimming. It leaves your nose clean and fresh for weeks. Highly recommend!

Super einfache Anwendung und wirklich effektiv. Mein Freund hatte erst Angst, die Wachsstäbchen rauszuziehen - war aber weniger schmerzhaft, als gedacht. Er nimmt nur noch diese Methode!
