I was tired of breaking coffee carafes and the space they would take up on the counter. This takes up so little space and there is no need for coffee filters! It's one little unit that does everything. I set it on my coffee mug, fill it with grounds, pour the hot water. Simple, compact, easy to use.The only drawback is that you do need to manually scrape out the grounds and wash it pretty thoroughly after each use, but it's not difficult to do.

It does not last very long before the stand breaks away from the filter.

I love this. I can make one cup of coffee. It's easy to use and easy to clean.

It’s nice the rubber thing on the side we lost it fell off but, we like it!

It does make a good cup of coffee, but it did break after the 4th use or so. I still use it by placing it in a high cup, but that's because I don't want to replace it.

Alittle smaller than I expected but works great! Wanted to try ground again because k-cups are pricey. Works great

It's faster than a normal drip maker If you are just making one cup. It's more economical and environmentally conscious than a keurig and so much cheaper than a single serve coffee maker. It is sturdy, easy to clean and makes a perfect cup of coffee. I also use it for straining things like cold brew coffee and home made pop, though I'm not sure that's explicitly recommended. 5 stars all around

So far, makes a GREAT cup of coffee. It helps to gently pour hot water on the grounds to first before completely saturating AND if you like HOT coffee, preheat your cup with some hot water first

I've wanted a coffee filter like this since the 1980's . . . sadly then it did not exist. I always found it funny reading the packaging on PAPER filters where the manufacture touted the bleach free brown paper coffee filters saying no harmful chemicals for the environment yet never mentioning the crap in the bleached PAPER filters going in to ones body. Enough of that on to THIS stainless filter. This is not the only brand of them I've used. They're pretty much only a few of them just packaged differently. I'm writing this review because many of the reviews of these things I'VE read are useless. The coffee runs thru to quickly so it's weak. The coffee plugs the filter so it's too slow. HERE GOES KIDS: The filter ain't changing, if it runs through too quickly use a finer grind. takes too long use a coarser grind. play around figure it out, it works great. only complaint is the base in time WILL break off. don't drop so as to delay that. if you get a year out of it think of the 600 or so paper filters you didn't buy and throw away, and all the garbage chemicals from those paper filters you didn't ingest. just think of the base breaking off some time down the road as the cost of doing business. perhaps treat this like the BBQ propane tank situation. buy TWO.
