Wow! Better than 5 stars!
Got this to try instead of the normal one found in local stores. It was great! I never realized how much better high quality soy sauce was. The flavor is outstanding. 5 Stars isn't enough!

A Symphony of Flavor in Every Drop
Kishibori Shoyu has elevated my culinary experiences with its exceptional quality and depth of flavor. This premium artisanal Japanese soy sauce truly deserves high praise. The first thing to note is the complexity of its flavor profile. Unlike regular soy sauces, Kishibori Shoyu offers a symphony of tastes – it's not just salty but also carries subtle hints of umami, a slight sweetness, and a deep richness that can only be found in meticulously crafted sauces. Each drop enhances the dish, whether it's used in marinades, as a dipping sauce, or simply drizzled over rice. The aroma of Kishibori Shoyu is another aspect that sets it apart. It has a distinct, inviting scent that heightens the anticipation of the meal. This soy sauce doesn't overpower; it complements and elevates the flavors of various ingredients, making it a versatile addition to any kitchen. I appreciate the commitment to traditional brewing methods, which is evident in the quality of the product. The soy sauce is fermented and aged in barrels, a process that contributes to its unique taste and quality. Knowing that such care and tradition go into making this soy sauce adds an element of specialness to every use. Moreover, its all-natural ingredients and no additives make it a healthier choice. It's a product that tastes good and aligns with a health-conscious lifestyle. TL;DR: Kishibori Shoyu is a premium, artisanal Japanese soy sauce that transforms ordinary dishes into extraordinary culinary creations. Its complex flavor, aromatic profile, and traditional brewing methods make it a must-have for anyone looking to add a touch of gourmet to their cooking.

Amazing Sauce!
I thought all Soy Sauce was the same. Not even close!! A friend turned me on to it. This is so good I take it to sushi restaurants and they look at me funny until they taste it. You could actually drink this stuff right out of the bottle yes it’s that good. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Worth every cent.

Aged to Perfection
We use soy sauce sparingly, but we opt for this artisan produced barrel aged product, free of artificial preservatives or sweetners. It embodies a rich aroma and a full bodied taste. This is the real deal, adhering to traditional methods.

Way better than you're probably used to.
Unless you've spent time in Japan, this is probably the best soy sauce you've ever had. Even Japanese Kikoman is vastly superior to the swill they push on you in the states. That being said, this is good soy sauce. The viscosity is on the thin side. In a regular teaspoon you can see the bottom of the spoon through it. Color is deep brown and crystal clear. Very similar to slightly underextracted coffee. It tends to soak into cooked fish as opposed to coating it. The flavor is well rounded and slightly salter than other soy sauces. Very mild sweetness balancing out burned undertones. Overall this is a good soy sauce, but the premium pricing isn't exactly justified.

Lovely soy sauce with actual complexity to it, unlike commercial cooking soy sauce.
