I bought this spin grate because when I am grilling I am always moving the food closer and away from the hot zones. Sometimes I manually rotate the original grate but it hangs up on the tabs. This new spin grate allows me to easily rotate the food from one area to another, and I am pretty happy with it.

I bought a weber grill long time ago. Not till recently have I learned from youtube the slow n sear method for cooking steaks. For the sear part, you are supposed to spin your grate away from the flame then flip. If you have a regular weber grate, the grate gets caught when you try to spin the steak away from the flame. I thought, I wish somebody invent a grate that spins freely. Here it is. It works perfectly.

Just used it for the 4th time and the spot weld on one side of the handle broke. It still works maybe I just got a flawed one. Other than that it’s a pretty cool grill.

What a wonderful grate. It makes it so easy to move food on the grill to avoid hot spots. Very well made and I would totally recommend this.

The spinning grill insert does not freely turn catching on the Weber 22" bolts so that a second tool is required to unhitch the grate from the grill bolts. Thickness of the metal grill is very thin and will not last long especially having to force it to move around. The YouTube video is doctored to show it spinning flawlessly which it does not do. Mine is in the trash already deemed totally joyless to use.

I bought this and it works fantastically! Able to rotate things over my slow and sear unit effortlessly. Love their other products as well. I have the side table for my weber and the dragon.. Keep up the good work guys!

It works great in my Weber 22; just as promised in the product description. I especially like that it fits over and works great with my slow n' sear--perfect for getting a cold grate sear on steaks and other meats.

Why doesn't a Weber Kettle come with a grate like this?! It is absolutely a perfect addition! I can now just rotate what I'm cooking from the hot side the the cook side, or anywhere in between! Get one!!

Excited to fit my new bbq dragon spin grate on my new weber only to find one of the 3 support legscompletely snapped off straight out of the box. very poor packaging by amazon or bbq dragon.Have to pay for international shipping to return the grate even though it came shipping free. Packaging, wrapping, printing and transporting and have to pay for the privilege of a refund. not happy at all.
