Disappointed
First day I loved them for comfort style and warmth. I didn’t do any heavy trail running, just a few short hikes and walking across the yard, regular ware. The tread is great but it’s already separating from the shoe, which looks like i’ve been kickboxing with Shredder in his razor armor. Looked nice for about a week. Low quality materials, especially for the price.

Noticeable drop in quality
I’ve now abandoned Xero, and here is why. After purchasing at least a dozen pair of Xero shoes, I’ve noticed, what can only be described as, a catastrophic decline in quality. There were telltale signs- the first pair of shoes I purchased were made with quality materials (aside from the pictured sole falling apart)- meanwhile all the newer shoes have fraying or fibers showing around the reinforced toe. I’ve killed the last half dozen shoes in less than 6 months, and less than 300 miles. IT IS NOT PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE TO WEAR THROUGH THE SOLE ANYMORE, (Rendering their 5000 mile warranty moot) as the sole will separate from the upper long before that. Repairing them is not an option, as the fabric used is a cheap laminated material that delaminates and disintegrates. For the average user, this might not be an issue, as many people don’t put the miles on their shoes that runners do.I prefer Revivo, as they have a wider toe box, creating a better barefoot experience, and they keep shoes out of the landfill.

Great Comfort... Horrible Quality
These shoes fit pretty well, and feel pretty good on your feet. The big draw back for me is that after 8 months of use they are almost completely torn apart! I am an avid hiker and runner, so I do use my shoes a lot. I expected more use out of them however, so if you want a shoe that lasts or it built from quality materials don't buy these shoes!

Great customer service, but apparently numbers are hard. Big feet need not apply...
Torn between 5 stars and 1. 5 stars for a seemingly great product and stellar customer service. 1 star for "C'mon, man, it's 2018, how hard is it to size shoes correctly???" Bottom line, I called Xero before ordering these. Yes, I've read the bazillion comments on being too small, but I wear a size 14. And if, like me, you have legitimate size 14 feet, you are pretty much out of luck for minimalist trail shoes as most vendors don't make, or rarely stock, size 14+. Anyway, I left a message on Friday afternoon after work hours, and I got a call back on Sunday suggesting I purchase through Amazon for the free returns. Five bucks more, but that's great customer service!!! Shoes arrived as promised, and as (sadly) expected, the largest size made, the 14's, aren't anywhere CLOSE to fitting a size 14 foot. Not even with the insole removed. I guess it's off to sell a kidney for Vivo's or maybe try some SOM's. Too bad, I've enjoyed my Xero huaraches, but please, fix the sizing and help us big dudes out!!!

Awesome comfort
New to minimalist shoes, hiker not a runner. Tried several brands and styles. For sizing help, i wear a 9, 9.5 in a 'glove' with a thumbs width of extra space, ordered a 10 in these and my big toe bumps the front. A 10.5 is longer, but still shorter than the glove.First pair had a missing spot in the footbed that was filled in with glue. (See pic) This was in left shoe at the little toes. This was noticeable without an insole and is not what I'd expect in a $100 pair of shoes. Second pair did not have the same flaw. That said, they fit really well. Snug up well in the heel and midfoot and much roomier toe box. No arch support, these soles are flat :) They are comfortable with and without the insole, thick and thin socks.Wore 3+ mi the first couple days, 6.5 the third across rocky hills and like the feel. No slipping, seems like good traction, a lot more ground feel than I'm used to but not harsh. Crossing water they were a little slick on mossy wet rock, but dumped water and dried quickly. A little muscle soreness with the change, but no issues with rocks, branches or roots. If these hold up well, xero will become my brand.Update: I have put 550 miles on these shoes, and am so happy with them. By far the most comfortable enclosed shoes I've owned. In 3 weeks all the foot/leg pains that developed after wearing hiking boots for almost a year have completely disappeared. Wish I'd never been convinced to give up trail runners in the first place, but live and learn.Only disappointment is that toe bump is decorative fabric, not firm, and i had concerns about them holding up because I tend to drag one foot a bit. They started shredding on both shoes about 300 miles. The tread is great in most conditions, but can be a little slick on rocks when wet and in rivers. They look really beat but still feel great which is the opposite of what I'm used to :)

Definately fits small to size, go half size up from regular 'barefoot' shoes and 1 size up from structured tennis shoes
I bought 3 different pairs in the Men's sizes because I require wide fit shoes... I wear a women's 9 in the Merrell vapor glove 2&3 (the 4's had more 'structure' to the sole and were too narrow) and I ended up with a size 8 mens. I tried a 7 and a 7.5 ( so 8.5 and 9 women's equivilant) and they were too short. The 8 fits great and I wore them to work where I am on my feet all day and loved them, can't wait to try them out on the trail!! LOVE LOVE that Amazon has free shipping and free returns.. that helped.

Comfortable shoe
I bought this to help my plantar fasciitis. It has the most rubber on the heal and thus a little more comfortable for me. The only problem is that they can be a bit slippery on smooth, damp surfaces like my pine outside stairs, which were wet after a bit of rain. They are of course great for bush walking and outside exercise.

Tallas reducidas.
