Have already caught a lot of mice but most of the time the mouse is still alive. You might have to kill mouse after release. They are very effective and work well at catching mice.

1st night-Caught one rat out of the seven that visit my chicken coop every night in one of the three traps set. The next night, nothing. Rats are very smart. You have to move the traps and coat the inside with different types of food to get them to think it’s a different item they’re encountering. However, I think the traps are designed well and my chickens cannot be harmed by them which is a major requirement for me. I hope I will continue to catch them. I tried doing the catch and release kind but after you catch one, they are smart and won’t go in the trap

Seems to work as it should,really have to push/slam to set it.

Consistently captures. Bottom opening is difficult to maneuver on some! Spring load is tight and loud on capture. Be prepared…some captures are lengthy in demise of rodent!

These traps work well when rodents are large enough to trip them. This is my third set. I had to do a little filling on the locking mechanism after months of use because the plastic warped to a point I couldn’t set it. I figured out the problem the hard way by destroying the trap trying to set it.
