It’s very strong and works perfectly. Plus it’s one my dog can’t chew as it’s flat to the floor. I didn’t use the adhesive pads as I screwed it to the floor. Unusual design, but it works really well and was easy to fit. I really like that it doesn't stick out from the skirting board or wall as in some locations this more traditional type of magnetic door stop can be a trip hazard or cause injury.The magnet is quite strong and works well in our entranceway where one of our internal doors always slams when our front door is opened and we forget to put a wedge under it.I though it might be an issue that the door slides off the magnet when pulled instead of needing to be pulled hard to release it as is the case with some other designs, but I needn't have been concerned as it works well.If the gap under your door is a little large you can always put a little packing under the floor piece but in this case you will need to screw it down rather than use the double sided tape.
