Okay, so I've only had it for about 48hrs but it's basically been going since, I'm doing a massive quantity of corned beef briskets but that's all besides the point. So you want a piece of meat cooked to a precise temperature, stay juicy and be tender? Fire your wife and get one of these. This bad boy annihilated about 15 lbs of brisket in less than 24hrs. Still tender with the faintest pull and juicier than your mom's booty. It got about 5 gallons of water up to temp in no time at all and kept it there.... To the TENTH OF DEGREE!!!! 1100 watts really does make the difference to get your water up to temp quick and make fast corrections. If you're like me and went to bed without covering, you have to add water due to evaporation. It's super simple to use, no crazy Wi-Fi setup, you didn't have to sacrifice your first born to the Internet gods to link it your ugly smart watch. It's either on or off and at your desired temp and time ... Like 5 buttons I think? It's feels heavy duty, it's really well built. You could bludgeon home intruders and then sous vide their corpse. It's almost completely universal on where you can clip it in and what water vessel you choose. Overall, good quality, good product, fantastic results. You need this in your life.

It's a little tricky to get sequencing figured out at the beginning when programming it, but once you get the hang of it, it works well. The first thing I noticed about it once it was turned on was how quiet it was. That to me is a major bonus because if something is going to be humming in your kitchen for hours and hours, it should be quiet. This is a very solid unit and I hope to get years of use out of it.

I hardly ever leave a review and this just might be my first one, but this sous vide immersion circulator has inspired me to do so. A Con: There was confusion on how to actually start it. A Pro: A call to their customer service solved it quickly (Set your temperature, set your time, double tap the power button which will then turn from blue to red; now it's on). A Con: This may be small but it's irritating: the speed which the temperature is set is so fast that you are apt to go past the target temperature. A Pro: This is easily remedied by getting close to the target and then tapping the + or - button to reach it. Not a big deal, really. A Pro: It is very quiet, hardly noticeable at all. A major requirement for me. A Pro: The attachment mechanism has a rubber tipped screw which seems both sturdy and long-lasting. A Pro: It's 1100 watts, from my research this means it can keep more water at the correct temperature easier than a lower watt circulator. But I'm not an engineer so don't hold me to that. A Pro: I really like that it DOES NOT have bluetooth or wifi capability. I prefer items to be simple and just do their job well, in this case it's to keep water at a constant temperature for a prescribed amount of time. This circulator has accomplished that so far. And here's hoping it will mean that there are fewer things to go wrong with it. A Pro: It is easy to use and it frees up the time. Less time is spent on tending to the meat portion of the meal so you can get other parts of the meal ready. The Main Pro: It made the Best Steaks we've ever had!

Solid and heavier than expected. First time using I didn’t hear anything so I thought I wasn’t circulating... it is so damn quite. Used a few times and still check to see if the circulator is spinning upon startup. Works perfectly!

This stick easily handles my large batch projects and stays true to temperature. I have the non wifi version because I just needed a simple, programmable device. The unit I purchased in March of this year developed a fault in the touchscreen. I still give 5 stars because the customer service was prompt and excellent. They walked me through sending a video of the malfunction and then very promptly sent me a replacement unit that works perfectly. GS310 is a great value if you batch prepare protein in advance for freezing and finishing later. Solid cooking quality - my pork ribs melt off the bones after grilling. Chicken breasts as well as other difficult meats cook well and are easy to finish.
