It's the right size for her and she learned to ride very quickly, but like others have said: the seat will not stay in place. It slips side to side and sometimes down. The pedals also unscrew themselves and they are difficult to reattach. I have a message out to the company but I might have to return it. Rather disappointing! Should be much sturdier. My daughter weighs only 54 pounds, so she is nowhere near the limit on weight and should not be causing the seat to get loose for that reason. Sadly, we are having difficulties with the seat. It doesn't stay up at the right height. Every time we put weight on it it drops down and then the wheels don't spin. Came with all the tools to assemble. Reasonably easy to assemble. My son loved this for his birthday. Took him a little bit but he is riding this around the house. It helps th have something to hold on to when first learning. I still can't do it. Takes good ballance and determination.
