I’ve used this hair dye a few times and it’s a great option for the price. The color came out rich and even, and it covered grays pretty well. I also liked that my hair felt softer than expected afterward, especially with the included conditioner. The application process was simple and the instructions were easy to follow. It does have the typical strong dye smell, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, a reliable at-home color that gives good results without spending salon prices.

Here is a before and after photo of the product… I had to use two boxes because I have very thick hair, but I love the natural highlights that created to get back to my natural color. I have a lot of gray and I’m only in my 30s and the color is so nice that I can still leave my hair unstyled and it looks good completely natural… also it says for grays to leave it in for 35 minutes and I only left it in for 25 minutes because I could tell it was getting very very dark and worried me so I’m happy I did that cause I think it left some natural highlights. Also, the conditioner left my hair, super soft and silky, even though before it wasn’t soft and silky because I was dying already dyed hair.

If you are in your 40's and the greys are taking over (not the alien kind) then this is a perfect product for you! ...Its cheap, reliable (been using it for years), and does the job exactly as intended. Works great on beard! Color looks natural, unlike some other brands where when used I have looked like my face fell in a tar pit... ...AND, don't even get me started on the conditioner, my god! Why are they not selling this as a stand alone product! (The one they sell is not the same, I know)

I have used this product (Color #41) for more than 25 years. It is the only thing that completely covers the grey and has minimal fading. I use shampoo for color treated hair as well as a deep conditioner. The only grays that show up are from new growth. It does not have an ammonia smell, so the scent is OK. I recently had to start using a slightly lighter color because my grays are coming in faster and the lighter color blends them better. Use an old towel because the dye will stain any nice towels you use. This product is cheaper than going to a salon and spending hours. If you want a fancy color mix, this may not be for you.

This hair color offers complete gray coverage in an ammonia-free formula. It’s a fantastic price, but I suppose you somewhat get what you pay for. Good color, but my hair is definitely drier than with other dyes (like Olia) and the tiny packet of conditioner only covers one wash. A nice, affordable option as long as you invest in good conditioner for color-treated hair.
