I am a guy with wavy hair that is still growing out right now. The brush does a great job of distributing oils (I use Rosehip or Jojoba depending on the day). Although the bristles still feel like they're not hard enough, they still do a fairly decent job at bringing some shape back to my head. I haven't used it as a beard brush though.
