In the end, I decided to return this doll, therefore I cannot speak on the longevity of this toy. The pros for this baby are: his sweet face, his tiny baby wrinkles, his little smile, he feels nice in your arms because he's slightly weighted, his fingers/toes aren't ugly, his outfit/accessories are cute, and the box is nice (especially if he's a gift). The cons are: he is a bit more petite than anticipated, he does not sit up well. However, truly the issue is his profile. He is very sweet when looking at his face, but from the side he just does not look right. His neck comes up behind his chin. The rest of it wasn't as good. My granddaughter was disappointed especially with the hair. There were chunks gone and it's very course, so not soft like a baby. Maybe it’s because it’s fresh out of the box but the arms do not reach like in the photos and it’s quite hard to bend the legs in a sitting position because they’re so stiff out. The bigger disappointment is that the pacifier and bottle do not properly go inside the mouth. My toddler is napping right now so I don’t know if it’ll matter to my kid but I was hoping for a more “realistic” experience for my child who will soon be a big brother. I thought that was what I was paying for vs a cheap doll but I’m again, not very impressed. At least it came in a nice box.
