MOVA V50 might be the one!!
UPDATE 1/31/26- So Mova is still doing a great job keeping my place clean. I've changed the scheduled cleaning sessions once again to accommodate my home and time. One issue i found, if you're a pet owner you've got to check the onboard filter weekly as there's no notification sent through the app to do so. My mova seemed to be doing a horrible job out of no where. Simply leaving debris everywhere even with thr suction set to turbo. I wrote Mova who replied quickly and came up with a solution that worked for both of us. They offered a new machine to replace this one. Well in my experience, a new machine may have ended up having it's own issues far worse than what I'm already experiencing. I asked Mova if they would mind sending the new unit out and let me test it for a while as i could afford the downtime as well as the chance that i receive a lemon. They agreed, but just before they shipped a new unit i decided to look at the onboard filter which had just been changed a few weeks prior. Sure enough there was about an inch of cat fur on the inside of the filter causing suction to diminish greatly. I took the filter out svs cleaned the fur off and the machine is back in business! I alerted Mova of this and mentioned there not being anything in the app to remind users of this who are pet owners. They are grateful and said they'd pass this along to their engineers. On a side not, I spoke with Mova about designing a plumbing installation kit for this machine which they were actually helpful with and offered their support through testing. I'm in my 4th week of testing now and everything is working wonderfully. I really like a company that stands behind their product, but finding one that agrees to not void your warranty while you text out modifications is great! Anyhow the V50 is solid and doing just fine. I'll update in the future as there is one other thing on the list i wish was better but for now let's let it run... UPDATE 10/16/25- So I've been living with Mova for some time now since my original purchase and here are my thoughts. I recently moved to a new place and had to remap after moving in. I like the fact that while I had to delete the old map, my scheduled cleaning data didn't get erased. That gave me time to look at how i had routines set up and i felt that leaving most of the routines in ai cleaning mode netted a better result overall. In my last home a deep cleaning which was scheduled on Saturdays would take hours. Lots of returns to the dock to charge etc. This past Saturday, Mova ran through my place with one thing on her mind. Clean and get out the way. I now have it set up to vacuum every night at 10pm, then scheduled mopping and vacuum at 3 am 3 nights a week. The rest of the week is a mixed bag of cleaning routines making sure to mop my kitchen every night. She's doing a fantastic job at keeping the cat fur down to a minimum and making sure to pick up the litter and whatever else my cats leave behind. The only thing i wish this vacuum had the ability to do is add a plumbing kit. This one lasted past the 30 days return window so now I'm married to it. Another thing to add, I've noticed when searching for reviews at least in my experience, I hadn't found several bad reviews. Plenty of good reviews out there on this particular model. And in researching i found that the vacuums that tend to have the most negative reviews are generally ones to stay away from. Conversely, when looking for mixed reviews on the Mova v50, there weren't nearly as many as any other vacuum I'd come across. Now this has been my experience so far and what that translates to is if people aren't talking about it, it must be good because I've noticed everyone has time to express their horrible experiences but a lot of folks do not really take time out to mention all the great experiences they've had. Overall i am happy with my purchase and will be keeping this until it falls apart. Then we'll see what's next! Purchased around September 3rd 2025- So here's my review of the Mova V50. I was skeptic with all these robot vacuums coming out every other week. My partner convinced me to purchase this new one and I can confidently say so far she was right. The vacuum has performed virtually problem free. In fact the few times it's gone rogue was actually due to my negligence. A quick remap and things were rolling. It got stuck only a handful of times, going under a sofa in my guest bedroom that had large items that would bust ankles if walked on! So not the vacuums fault. I quick move of those items stored under the sofa and back to work. Programming was easy, and straight forward if you've programmed other vacuums before. Mapping was excellent! Furniture was automatically recognized and placed where it should be. My cats food bowls were easily recognized and so were their beds. I love the pet photo capture feature. When it's completed a task I go check the stored photos and see what my cats are up to. I see the v50 cleaning corners diligently and going over areas that it either missed due to a pet being in the way at the time of the first pass. I've also watched it go back to clean heavily soiled areas ensuring they weren't overlooked. Since I've worked out the little kinks it hasn't let me down. I'm coming up on the 30 day return window and you better believe it was going back if it didn't perform. I will say the only negative which is due to my programming actually is that it uses a LOT of water. But I have it mopping 7 days a week. Either the entire apartment or my kitchen and master bath on alternating days. It gets the job done. I'd like it to have an optional plumbing connection but they've not come up with one. I have figured out how to modify it to incorporate my own but perhaps I'll wait to see if it's really needed. Right now it's in my kitchen close to my kitchen sink so refilling isn't that taxing. I must admit I've gotten quite lazy so naturally filling and emptying became a task for me lol. But seriously this thing just works. Am I skeptic what long term ownership looks like? Absolutely, but I've had a few of these things and once they break they're broke. I haven't had to contact customer service once since purchasing the Mova V50 and hope I never have to. I'm gonna rate this a 9/10 just because I'm still not convinced it will last but it is doing quite good job. For reference I have a 1300 sqft 2 bedroom apartment with 2 baths. Carpet in both bedrooms and vinyl composite flooring throughout the rest. 2 cats and when my girlfriend comes over with her dog and her long hair everywhere.

Mova V50 Review: A Game-Changer in Vacuuming and Mapping Performance
After using the Mova V50 for around two months and covering a remarkable 65,000 square feet of floor space, I can confidently say this robot vacuum is an exceptional value for its price. From its cleaning performance to its advanced mapping features, the Mova V50 offers a level of convenience and efficiency that truly impresses. Performance: A Workhorse The performance of the Mova V50 has been consistently stellar. Whether itโs picking up dirt, pet hair, or dust, the vacuum does an excellent job on all surfaces, including hardwood, carpet, and tile. It has powerful suction that really pulls dirt out of the fibers, making it an ideal choice for both small homes and large spaces. I've noticed that it doesn't get stuck as easily as other vacuums I've used in the past. The navigation is smart and efficient, ensuring that it covers large areas without missing spots. Mapping & Navigation: Precision at Its Best The mapping technology on the Mova V50 is where it really stands out. With 65,000 square feet covered so far, itโs clear this vacuum is designed for small and larger homes like mine (around 3100 scure feet one floor house). The mapping process is smooth and accurate, and Iโve been able to customize the cleaning areas and set no-go zones easily through the app. This level of control makes it a lot more versatile compared to other vacuums in its price range. The V50 uses a mix of sensors and advanced algorithms, which allow it to efficiently map and plan its cleaning route. It's great at adapting to the layout of the home, adjusting its path without needing to be constantly supervised. Plus, it can resume cleaning after a recharge, so it never misses a beat. Cleaning Options: Versatility at Your Fingertips Another standout feature is the wide range of cleaning options. Whether you want a deep clean, edge cleaning, or spot cleaning, the Mova V50 provides multiple modes to fit your needs. You can adjust the suction power depending on your cleaning preferences, and it handles everything from fine dust to larger debris with ease. Itโs also easy to schedule cleanings, and the app provides a clear overview of cleaning progress. With so many options, itโs impressive how it still manages to be intuitive and user-friendly. Value for the Price: Exceptional The price-to-performance ratio of the Mova V50 is hard to beat. In the mid-range vacuum category, this one offers a lot of premium featuresโsuch as advanced mapping, smart navigation, and solid cleaning performanceโwithout breaking the bank. Youโre getting an efficient, high-quality machine that can handle large areas, multiple cleaning modes, and a range of surface types, making it one of the best value robotic vacuums available. Conclusion: Highly Recommended After two months of regular use, I can confidently say that the Mova V50 is an outstanding choice for anyone looking for a high-performing robot vacuum. The combination of smart mapping, versatile cleaning modes, and exceptional value makes it an easy recommendation for anyone with a large space, or just anyone who wants to make their cleaning routine more effortless. If you're in the market for a reliable, powerful, and affordable robot vacuum, the Mova V50 is definitely worth considering.

My updated impressions so far final update
I initially had written a negative review about the Mova v50. The reason being my Mova during its very first cleaning dumped a large clump of dirt on my floor. I had some difficulty at first getting ahold of support. I believe the reason is because of different time zones. Once getting a hold of support they have wellโฆ.. been very supportive. Iโm currently in a wait and see mode , possibly the dumping of the dirt clog was a fluke? I double checked the bin and the base but saw nothing that looked wrong. Possibly the clump simply got caught in the shoot instead of being sucked all the way into the bag and this wonโt happen anymore? Time will tell. However after speaking to Mova support I feel better that they will help me through this issue. I actually like the robot and hope the issue resolves itself .The robot is very smart. I was shocked how fast it mapped my house. Thereโs also a ton of options to make sure the robot cleans where and how you want it to. A favorite feature so far ( only ran it once to date) is the obstacle avoidance features, love how I can see a picture of the obstacle. I was impressed how well it recognized wires on the floor also . All this said, after a few weeks I will update to 5 stars if the dirt clump issue is resolved, Iโm cautiously optimistic especially because if it doesnโt Mova support has responsive and I trust they will resolve the problem .Stay tuned for the update but as of now Iโm hopefu,l hence the change from a negative review to a somewhat positive to reflect Movas efforts to fix the issue to date. updateโฆ unfortunately I cannot recommend this robot as much as i really wanted to. The robot continues occasionally dump dirt onto floor the floor from the side door opening. Per Movaโs instructions I changed the options in the settings to empty the bin more often by choosing the โsmart empty function โ. This didnโt solve the issue. MOVA now his asking me to set the empty function to empty more frequently (highest setting). I have a 10 year old iRobot i8 that can vacuum my entire house upstairs and downstairs With only emptying upon completion. My Mova is only doing my upstairs. They have offered to replace the unit . This involves me packing up the heavy robot /Bin, taking it to a drop off center and waiting on a replacement that I may have the same issue. They also informed me they recommend re-mapping if I get a new one. This means more time and hassle. Naming the rooms, setting no go zones, cleaning sequence, cleaning preferences and adding to app. Iโve run some test on my own and see this as probably a design issue. A YouTube tester also during his testing encountered the same problem (dirt dumped on floor). Iโve added more pictures. I was hoping to by a second Mova as itโs smart for my basement. However Iโm not going to after further testing having same issue of dropping dirt onto floor floor. Support has been trying and I donโt fault them as much as the poor design of the vacuum shoot/rubber flap. Update:: support has now quit responding.

My review of the MOVA V50 Ultra: first robot vac/mop Iโve used that actually keeps floors clean
Iโve gone through a few robot vacuums over the years and they always ended up being something Iโd run occasionally, not something I actually relied on. This one changed that pretty quickly. Setup was straightforward. The app walks you through everything step by step, and the initial mapping run was accurate without needing to redo anything. It picked up the layout of my place, recognized rooms correctly, and I didnโt have to mess around with it to get a usable map. There are a lot of settings in the app, so it took a minute to get everything dialed in the way I wanted, but once itโs set up itโs easy to use. The vacuuming performance is strong and consistent. It handles everyday dust, dirt, and random debris without any issue, and it does a noticeably better job along edges and corners than other ones Iโve tried. Things like crumbs in the kitchen, dust along baseboards, and even small debris near entryways get picked up without needing a second pass. I have a mix of hard floors and rugs, and it transitions between surfaces smoothly without getting stuck or skipping areas. Rugs get cleaned without it dragging anything around or struggling to climb up onto them. The mopping is where it really separates itself. I was honestly a little hesitant about the spinning mop pads since Iโve only used roller-style systems before, but this completely changed my mind. It does an amazing job. Itโs not just moving water around โ it actually cleans. In the kitchen, where there are usually light spills or footprints, you can see the difference after it runs. It doesnโt leave streaks and the floors feel clean when you walk on them, not just slightly damp. The dock is a big part of what makes this work as well as it does. It handles the maintenance side so youโre not constantly emptying bins or dealing with dirty mop pads. That alone makes it much easier to run regularly, because it doesnโt feel like youโre adding another chore every time you use it. Navigation has been reliable. Every once in a while itโll do something a little unexpected like double back over a spot or take a slightly odd path, but it still covers everything and gets the job done without needing attention. I donโt feel like I need to keep an eye on it while itโs running. The app is simple to use once everything is set up, and it gives you a lot of control over how it cleans. Some of the automatic features are there, but Iโve found it works best when you fine-tune a few settings to match your space. Noise level is also reasonable. You can hear it, especially if you bump it up to higher suction, but itโs not disruptive and easy to live with. Overall, this is the first robot vacuum Iโve had that actually reduces how much I need to clean myself. Itโs not just maintaining the floors โ itโs actively keeping them clean. Being able to run it and trust that itโs going to do a thorough job without needing attention makes a big difference. If youโre looking for something that goes beyond basic maintenance and actually handles the day-to-day cleaning, this one delivers.

Works great with just a few issues
Iโve had the Mova v50 for a little over a month now and here are my thoughts. This is my first robot vacuum. I never really thought Iโd have use for one until coming across a YouTube video about it. (Just A Dad Approved) This thing is so cool and was really impressed with the threshold jumping. It works great however none of my thresholds are particularly tall. Having a Great Pyrenees it was important for the robot to have good hair management. Hair has never gotten caught in the brush. Kind of amazing tbh. There can be a build up near wheels but it just pulls right out. Itโs really quiet but can get loud when it auto adjusts to carpet. The mopping is good as well. I donโt think it completely replaces good ol elbow grease but definitely extends the time between manual mopping. It mapped quickly and some how knew what every room was used for (master bedroom, bathroom, dining room, etc). The app is okay. I think it could be a little more user friendly. Itโs had a few issues docking and getting stuck if I forget to pick up phone chargers. Itโs heavy and seems sturdy. I wish it didnโt take bags but you can get alternatives that are cheaper. The mop pads Velcro on and are washable. I just throw them in the washer. Overall itโs helped manage the dog hair and muddy paw prints. My wife was skeptical but she loves it now. I waited for a sale and snagged it for $800. Worth it for me.

Smart, Powerful, and Truly Hands Free Cleaning
Iโm extremely satisfied with this robot vacuum. Itโs honestly one of the most useful things Iโve bought for my home. A robot vacuum makes everyday life so much easier. Instead of spending time sweeping and mopping, it takes care of everything automatically. You can just set it and forget it, and still come back to clean floors. Itโs perfect if you have a busy schedule or just want to save time and effort. This model stands out with its anti tangle design, which works great even with hair and carpets, so thereโs no need to constantly check or clean it. The obstacle avoidance is also very reliable. It moves smoothly around furniture and small objects without bumping into things or getting stuck. One feature I really appreciate is that it automatically turns on a light in dark areas, making sure no dust or debris is missed, even under beds or in corners. The scheduled cleaning is super convenient. I can set it to clean while Iโm out or sleeping, and it wonโt interfere with my daily routine. It also has a mopping function, which makes a big difference. It keeps the floors cleaner overall and saves me from the hassle of manual mopping and all the extra effort that comes with it. Overall, this robot vacuum is smart, efficient, and incredibly convenient. It saves time, reduces effort, and keeps my home consistently clean. Highly recommend.

Amazing floor cleaner for seniors and folks with physical disabilities.
We are seniors with pain, disability and mobility issues. Keeping our wall to wall carpeting regularly vacuumed and the hard surface floors in our bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room regularly vacuumed and mopped has become a huge challenge for us the past couple of years. Like most seniors, we are on a modest fixed income, so we can't afford to hire help as much as we need it. Working together, we can manage keeping on top of clutter, dusting, bathrooms, countertops, laundry, etc. However because of the kind of injuries and issues we've had over the years, vacuuming and mopping are the most difficult and painful chores for us to do. About 5 months ago, I realized that we needed to start thinking outside of the box and our comfort zones. I had heard of vacuuming and mopping robots but I just couldn't believe that they would do a very good job, especially on the mopping. I was also concerned that the technology would be so complicated that we wouldn't be able to manage it . They were also very expensive so I couldn't imagine us affording one. However, I kept looking and researching. The mova v50 came up often as one of the best vacuuming mopping robots but it was about $1300, so we couldn't afford it. Then at Christmas, Amazon marked it down to $750. That is still a lot of money for us but we have been putting out $25 an hour for someone to come and take care of our floors. I figured that if this vacuum worked out, we could vacuum and mop whenever we needed to and not have to put out $25 or more, every time. Plus, since I would be buying it through Amazon, I knew that we had 30 days to try it out and then send it back and get our money back, if the vacuum didn't work out for us.. I was also impressed that most of the reviews I read said that the app is fairly easy to navigate and that we should be able to handle it. We have now had this little vacuum and mop robot for about 8 weeks. This is what we think of it! Pros: 1)Find The YouTube video "Mova v50 is a game-changing robot vacuum and mop video - First Look" by Just a Dad on YouTube. This is the best and most thorough review that I have found on this robot. He shows you exactly how to set this up and all of the features. It's a very long video, but it's worth it to understand how this robot works. By watching this video, I was able to easily install and navigate the app for the basic, most critical functions of the robot. I know that not all seniors have smartphones or computers, but if you're comfortable with those at all, you will be able to do this. I do have to admit that I still haven't figured out all the features yet but I am able to get my floors cleaned with little effort, so that makes me very happy. 2) The vacuum comes with at least one year's worth of replacements for the consumable parts and solutions. From what I have researched, it's about $200 worth of parts and solutions that you will need that come included in the price. 3) Right now the price is $750 again, which is an incredible deal for a robot vacuum like this. Obviously Mova has come out with new and even more advanced models, which is probably why they're marking this down so much, but it's hard for me to imagine needing anything more than what this robot offers. The newer models are well over $1,000. 3) The suction power on this vacuum is incredible, especially when you put it on the highest setting. Our wall-to-wall carpeting is at least 20 years old and my husband is in a very heavy electric wheelchair. We get it professionally cleaned a couple times a year but it's still looks smashed down, because of all the use it's received over such a long time. This mova v50 ultra can't make these old carpets look new, but it actually raises the nap on them and picks up everything that has gotten onto or in them. Our rugs look remarkably cleaner and neater since we've had this vacuum. We have also noticed a significant reduction in dust on the surfaces in our house since we have been able to run this vacuum regularly. 4) I was very skeptical about a little robot vacuum with a couple of scrubby pads being able to really clean the hard surface floors in our house. I hate to admit it, but we hadn't been able to keep our floors adequately clean up until the time we bought this Mova v50 because we couldn't shell out $25 whenever the floors really needed cleaning. The first couple of times I used it to mop our floors. I was disappointed and thought that it wasn't doing a good job. However, when I went to empty the dirty water tank, all I saw was black water. Obviously those little scrubby pads had picked up a ton of dirt off our floors. I ran the mop cycle again. This time I was able to see how clean it got our floors after removing all the dirt that we hadn't been able to remove for a while. Since then our hard surface floors have been remarkably clean - and they are very old sheet vinyl. This little guy can really mop floors! 5) The tanks for the clean water and the dirty water are well designed, not overly heavy even when full, and the latch and handle are very strong. Once it's snapped shut you don't have to worry about it opening up and dumping water everywhere. 6) The cleaning and maintenance of this robot is minimal and easy to do - BUT YOU NEED TO DO IT REGULARLY!. Again, I suggest Just a Dad's videos on the Mova v50. Find the one on how to clean and maintain it and you'll know exactly what to do. 7) The final pro that I'm going to list here is the included 3-year warranty. We have not had to use the warranty or to contact customer service, so I cannot comment on how effective either one is. I've read some pretty mixed reviews on Mova's warranty and customer service. I'm hoping that if we ever need to use the warranty or customer service, that it will also be a five-star experience, like the vacuum robot has been. Cons: 1) The mova v50 with all of its components in its box is VERY heavy. If you decide to buy this and you are at a time of life, like us,where we can't haul things like that anymore, either make sure you have someone else there to help you, or pay the extra $20 to Amazon to have the delivery guy put it wherever you want it in your house. We had them put it on our kitchen table so we could take the items out of the box a piece at a time, at a level we could easily reach. The base station alone or the robot alone are not that heavy and easy to move to wherever you want to permanently put them. 2) This robot does not vacuum or mop as well as a woman determined to get her house clean. I would say that, depending on the room and what's in it, It cleans between 80% to 90% as well as a thorough house cleaner. It does vacuum or mop dirt out of some corners but not all of them. It does avoid most obstacles that might get tangled in the brushes but not all of them. It does go under most furniture but It's not as slim as some robot vacuums that can go under almost any piece of furniture. It doesn't always mop up all spots from the floor, especially if it's something sticky. However, you can just ask it to go back and mop the floor again. Usually it gets it up eventually. Depending on how far your kitchen cabinets stick out over the floor, it may not get all the debris from under your cabinets in the kitchen. However, we have found that the debris that it overlooks is not a big deal for us to handle, because the robot has already done the heavy hard part. Sweeping a few crumbs out of a corner, or scrubbing up one spot on a floor isn't a big deal. 3) Especially if you put the robot on the deep clean cycle, which is where you get the most suction power, it takes a long time for it to do all the floors in the house. We have about 1,400 square feet of floor space for it to clean and it can take up to 3 hours, if we ask it to do the whole house. If it gets stuck on something or if something gets tangled in it, then it takes even longer because it needs to reorient itself back to what it was doing. Fortunately it VERY seldom gets tangled in anything or gets stuck anywhere. The mapping software is very good and if you pick things up off the floor before you set it loose you won't have a problem. The time that it takes to clean all the floors in the house hasn't been a problem for us, though. We figure we're not the ones having to do the heavy work. so who cares how long it takes!

Constantly clean floors - life changing!
Iโve had this robot vac/mop for about a month now and I cannot express how much I love this product. Between a large lab who sheds constantly and a yorkie who has frequent accidents, my floors were always a mess, leaving me stressed about finding time to sweep and mop. Now the V50 runs a vacuum cycle every night and deep cleans/mops twice a week, and I wake up to clean, shiny, floors. Set up was easy and the mapping was done in less than 15 mins. It has no problem going over thresholds. I have tile, hardwood, and LVP, along with an area rug. I will say, I do have to vacuum/pet broom the rug occasionally to pick up the fine pet hair out of the rug fibers, but I was doing that constantly before, so Iโm still doing significantly less work keeping up on it. On the hard floors, it sucks everything up easily and mops beautifully. The app is easy to use and has nice alerts/features that make the whole set up very functional. I was able to purchase this on Black Friday sale pricing, but I can honestly say I would not hesitate to recommend purchasing even at full price. It saves me so much work and stress - definitely worth the investment. The set comes with many replacement pieces for when mop pads wear out and dust bags get full, etc. That alone saves money from having to order more right away. As a busy, single mom who functions better in a clean house, this is worth every penny!

Do not buy this product if you are outside the USA.
I personally experienced issues where some features did not work as they should. After contacting customer service, they confirmed that these features are not fully supported outside the United States and offered me a refund because I am located outside the USA.
