I've always had a childhood dream to have and own a modern G1 Devastator and the closest I had was a Dollar Store reissue "Skittles" G1 set that I got for Christmas and now that it has long since been lost to time I've wanted to get my hands on the team once again. I bypassed/ missed out on both the studio series "Bayverse" team and the Combiner Wars version, but now is my chance to get them and I'm happy I did so with Scrapper. It's a good figure, has decent articulation (sans the waist joint, but for good reason) and makes for a good limb mode ( that's not even in the instructions!) but I was able to figure it out easily. The weapon accessories are pretty cool, coming with his pistol and the 2 halves of the Devastator BFG that's awesome! And if you wish to be comical you can take advantage of the ankle tilt for limb mode and pose him as if he were doing the " I'm a little teapot" bit just for fun JK! Otherwise a really good figure and looking forward to hopefully getting the rest of the team along with the Arialbots this year ( God willing my wallet allows me to do so!!). "By my own standards, Metroplex is the awesomest thing ever." - Scrapper, Transformers G1.
