Great book
I bought this book because I had thumbed through my friends and couldn’t believe how informative it was! No junk, just real solutions! A must have for any home gardener who wants to take it to the next level.

Beautiful, well-presented book on five cool topics
I haven’t read it yet, but it looks like a beautiful well-presented book with lots of photos. My partner and I recently read RetroSuburbia by David Holmgren which we really enjoyed, and we thought we’d continue in the same vein with this book. David Holmgren’s “RetroSurburbia” had a lot of breadth, so now I’m looking forward to getting into more depth on the five specific topics covered in the book, which are: growing tomatoes, cultivating mushrooms, natural beekeeping, foraging seaweed and foraging wild food. I wouldn’t rate myself as particularly adept at any of those, though I’m probably strongest on foraging wild food, and I guess most keen to learn more about growing tomatoes. My partner is particularly interested in growing mushrooms. I knew that Nick Ritar and Kirsten Bradley were proficient at cultivating mushrooms (as I know them personally and I see their videos and courses on social media), so having that topic covered in this book was one of the main reasons we decided to buy it. We look forward to reading it, and we’re starting it today!

If you grow tomatoes, keep bees, like mushrooms, have a garden, then this book is for you!
I bought this book for my daughter who has just bought 10 acres in Tasmania. I now want a copy for myself. Milkwood concentrates on just a few items one might grow, like tomatoes, mushrooms and keeping bees. The information on each topic is so comprehensive I think you could be an expert in those areas if all suggestions and instructions were implemented.

Good little Australian book
Very nicely put together and really good that it is Australian based. Just would love to see more!
