These things are great, it did take me a bit to figure out how to use them properly in a couple home projects, so be careful. But... beyond sanding down drywall tweaks/patches, I realized these things can be used to clean a lot of (key point: not everything) surfaces. It is like a magic eraser.. the difference being that with the magic eraser you can kind of mindlessly scrub and probably will get the job done at least eventually without causing damage. The Romeda sanding sponges .,. you definitely have to get a feel for them before using them beyond sanding .. but you can clean a lot of surfaces faster/better than if you used a magic eraser. But key thing you have to get a feel for the grits/know what youre doing. For non sanding purposes frequeent swaps between the grit and sponge sides are key. Like everything else test out on something small to see if it works for the project, if it does you are in luck my friend.

Great product. You can cut down to size for smaller projects and what’s even better is they are reusable. No more tearing of sandpaper, just rinse off with water and reuse. Highly recommend

I have always used a drywall sander with sand paper when finishing drywall. I decided to grab these sponges because they were a good price and would arrive quickly. I am glad I did! I have used the sanding sponges before for other projects but didn't know I could wet them for drywall. I tried that on this project. It works ok but I noticed it made the dust really cake up on the sanding sponges which made it more difficult to sand with. I used them dry for most of the project. I like the sanding surface on all sides. Thois allowed me to easily sand corners. I am working on repairing old horsehair plaster in my home. Some of the surface was really rough. These did a great job sanding the wall surface without causing damage. The variety of grit in this pack is also a plus. The sponges are durable. I used one sponge on drywall mud around the walls, corners, and ceiling in an 8 ft x 12 ft room. After washing the sponge off, it still looked new. So they are definitely pretty durable when using for drywall. I also thought the thickness was good and they are not too squishy so they don't smash down in your hand. I will definitely purchase again.

The sanding sponges are working out nicely. I have been using them to sand the legs of a quilt rack that I turned on lathe. The sponges are soft enough to get into the beads and stand up to the lathe. I will certainly buy them again.

Seem to work great. I mean they are sanding sponges and work as you would expect. Thinking about seeing if I can find some super fine grit versions.
