I started in 2020 during covid and as bored as everyone I picked up skateboarding. Not many at the parks or on the streets, just looking for a fun time. Obviously no skate shops are open so I open Amazon and look for a good reasonable board. Ccs is such a good pick for anyone. I still pick up a deck once in a while even when I have 100s of good “name brand” decks around. Great pop, good wheels/ trucks, sick graphics, fit well, made things easy and grippy, and just a really strong board that’s gonna last. I loved my first board and it’s the same one where I learned all my tricks from. I worked really hard trying to be the best I can be and now sponsored, just want to give my thanks. If your reading this then we know your still on the bar. Just buy it. You will get hurt but trust me. It’s gonna hurt more knowing you never tried when you get old. Stay safe yall. Never stop reaching for your dreams, even if you take some concrete scrapes once in a while.

This board has pop.Good bearings and wheels really ice the cake.Great beginner or budget board.Measure shoe size to figure out your deck width or find your personal favorite.CSS has been a go to spot for decades, feel confident.

The skateboards:I purchased the yellow kids/mini complete skateboard from the seller Daddies Boards Shop here on Amazon. The skateboard came with both stickers and a skateboard tool as depicted. The board rides smooth and all the components feel of quality. There is no stiffness or extra effort required to get moving on the board. It’s a great beginner complete and none of the parts feel sus. The colors is vibrant and the paint has no flaws other than coming off easily. Order arrived in two days from order confirmation with prime.I also purchased the 8.0” mint skateboard from CCS.com with clear grip tape. The components are equally as good and make learning to skateboard easy and fun. This skateboard does have a pointed nose and flexes a lot more than the mini. It also has an imperfection on the paint job on the board the size of a dime. The paint isn’t any tougher and comes off very easily. The scratches you see in the photos are from a combined time of two hours on the board and all I know how to do is push myself around so I’m not doing anything cool or fancy yet. I reached out to CCS via their customer care email, phone, as well as facebook multiple times about these concerns and still have yet to hear back from them. Order took 8 days to arrive from the order confirmation date with free shipping. Came with one sticker and no skateboard tool.Shipping Comparison:Both Skateboards were packaged the exact same way and ship from the exact same location containing similar invoices with different logos and color of paper. When you buy it on Amazon you get it significantly faster.Cost Comparison after taxes:Purchased via Amazon: $90.51 this price included two stickers and a skateboard tool. There is no way to select a different color of grip tape or change the wheel color.Purchased via CCS: $89.45 this price included a choice of a few free colors of grip tape and wheels and a sticker. Other customizations cost extra.Customer Service:CCS.com: unresponsiveDaddies Boards Shop (Probably also ccs.com) via Amazon: Have not had to contact them regarding the purchase I made through Amazon.Summary:I am very happy with the color combination of both skateboards, but if I had to do it again I would buy both through Amazon. I know that should an issue or questions arise Amazon does a great job of making sure the sellers provide answers and resolutions and step in when they don’t. For the difference of about $1 that peace of mind just makes sense.

It is about what you would expect from a 80 dollar Amazon skateboard. The shipping skuffed it up a bit and there is a bubble in the grip tape, but it is well assembled and is a decent first board.

I bought this skateboard because it is the same brand that I used 15 years ago. It did not disappoint! It has been sturdy, light weight, and loads of fun.

Name brand quality and was delivered in matter of like 3 days or so.. Recommended to any level skater.I used to get ccs catalogs delivered to my house when I was 14 up til my 20s.. they've always made solid boards. Wheels are ok, trucks seem to be good quality.. and their blue bearings are good. So at this price for a complete after giving my recent board to a local skatepark kid that would have to share one with my stepkid, and watching them skate and not have anything to ride I impulse bought and have no regrets. Of course I would like having the dgk or girl/chocolate logo brands on the bottom but I'm 45 now and priorities like same quality at fraction of an all brand complete price, i tend to go for deals. And of course another variable is that my skating is not as consistent as in maybe going once a week or so.

Great deck for kids but stout enough for an adult to ride! If your kids are ready for something better quality and better fitting than the cheapo wally world boards this is it! Pro deck quality packaged in a kid sized board! I bought my 7 year old a full size 8.0 deck cause he was past the cheapy boards and was consistently riding and practicing tricks but it was too big for him to get flip tricks. He had control down with a full size, transitions, drop ins, etc but couldn't Ollie due to the size of a full deck. Well, he can now get an Ollie with this board and it's great quality. I have even ridden it and don't feel like I'm going to break it. Small for an adult but very sturdy and top quality type stuff you would expect from CCS back in the day. I would not hesitate to order another but I don't think I'll need to anytime soon! This board should last him until he can ride a full size.

I’ve been buying ccs blanks out of thier catalog since I was 15 (43 now), they’re great. This was a present for my 10yr old, his first board, he loves it. If you’re not in the know, CCS has been around forever. They are real boards, not those badly pressed heavy things you find in a toy dept. I bought it here on Amazon because they’re actually less expensive and they throw in the skate key for free, which is awesome :) Thanks California Cheap Skates!
