The best bible i've ever bought. Very much satisfied. I advice anyone who wants a study bible.

This is THE Bible for Bible nerds!! This is extremely thorough in explanations and it’s as light as a feather!! The back has the full Parsha schedule with Brit Chadashah readings, specifications on the Sephardic vs Ashkenazi Haftarah readings, and a lot of background context that transliterations alone fail to convey. Read the fore-ward/intro to get an idea of the heart, thought-process, and intention behind making the CJSB. Also, the Brit Chadashah (New Testament) readings are NOT the same as in the TLV, but the Torah and Haftarah readings are the same. I mean those at least should be. I verified all of them bc I’m a nerd that quality assurances everything. This will deepen your understanding and force you to ask bigger questions of the Bible. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend that everyone buys this! Christian nerd, Jewish nerd, and nerds in general! This is meant for the voracious nerds who can’t get enough of the Bible and History!

I love this Jewish translation, it's easy reading and really gives clarity to scripture. For the average Christian (are we average? lol.) there is so much of interest in here.... Jewish Customs and the Introductions to each book are interesting. Maps, and glossaries at the back give English pronunciations and also English words to Hebrew.

The most amazing Bible ever. With this translation, and all the comments and explanarions that are provided, you begin to understand things that didn't make sense before. It all comes alive. Not to mention the print, which is amazing, with all the graphics in colour. Everyone should own one

The layout is beautiful. More like a reading book style. Not the two column style. Some of the pages is single column style which leaves room for notes in the margin. The "story style" pages has little to no room for notes. I love that it gives more insight into the original language and meaning of the word. The book arrangement is also as it is in the jewish bibles am not in the order we are used.
