Crayola Virtual Design Pro-Fashion

LOVE how the children can upload their designs into an app that puts it on a digital "model", and makes for easy sharing and saving to your phone. The quality is typical Crayola, very well done, and rich range of colors. You don't have to interface it with the phone app either. Neat carrying case makes it portable, and very affordable gift for lots of fun, great way to hang out with your daughter!

This is GREAT....can't believe it only costs $20.00. It worked great. My granddaughter designed dresses on the pages that were included in the kit, then scanned the design (both front and back) and there was the model walking on the runway with the dress on!!!!!! There were markers, colored pencils and design stencils in the kit and you could download and print extra fashion sheets for free. You can even change the runways and create magazine covers. This is a WONDERFUL gift for the creative child on your list. I have never seen anything so innovative and easy to use. My creative granddaughter got such a kick out of this and it performed beyond my expectations. Kudos to crayola....every child that enjoys creating should own one.

Santa brought this for my 8 year old daughter. She loves it! I love it! It is fantastic. She already uses our iPad, so she knows how to make the runway work. And, using the runway app, I can email the pdf of more pages to my email so I can print them out. This is so fun for her, and since there is unlimited paper, it is fun for everyone. Really clever.

This was a really cool present I bought for my daughter. She wants to be a fashion designer and loves to watch Project Runway and other designing shows so I knew she'd love this! She did. Not only is it great for the virtual design that shows the design on your smartphone or tablet, it also just a great kit to design clothes on. It comes with a design book, 36 colored pencils, pencil sharpener, 20 markers,and 4 stencils. We downloaded the app and she used it and at first it took a few times to get the hang of it but before you know it, it became quite easy! We photocopied the papers so we wouldn't have to purchase more. Not only is it fun for what it's intended but it's also a nice little case to keep her colored pencils and markers and drawings. I'm really glad we purchased this and my daughter (and I) both have had a lot of fun designing and seeing our design come to life! This product was a personal purchase for myself at the normal retail price. I am reviewing it because I want to share my experience with other potential customers.

This is a really neat product/app combo. It provides templates that the child colors with her own dress design(using included pencils and markers). Then take a picture of the dress using the intuitive app and see a "model" wearing it on a runway. Replacement templates are free, though new clothing packs require in app purchase. I gave this to my 6 year old for Christmas, it was such a hit. I then gave it to one of her friends for her birthday, I received a thank you text from her mom about how much they love it.

This has been so fun! Watching the drawings come to life is so neat. I also appreciate that additional pages are download/printable so you don’t have to purchase anything else. The only drawback could be if kid’s don’t have access to a phone with the app.

My daughter and I had a blast with this thing, and the best part is we got more and more creative until we were getting totally weird. Sure you can color the templates as explained, but we started placing small objects, toys, keys, fabric, anything on top of each template and it worked. As long as you don't cover the registration corners, you can put anything on top of the dress and suddenly you have a virtual fashion show of designs like gumballs, car keys, little toys, candy, pens and pencils, legos, fingers, coins... we found ourselves running all over the house placing objects on each page and then seeing how it looks as a dress on a model. Make sure you have a compatible device, download the app and spend some time having fun with your kids putting on a virtual fashion show.

Very cool and creative toy for young girls, but the app would not download and work on an iPod as advertised. Had to us parents' iPhone and iPad to download and open the app. Other than that, 9 year old granddaughter thought it was a great toy and had fun designing outfits and watching her creations in a fashion show.
