Review: Totally Worth It! Performance and Aesthetic Appeal! - I just got these wooden acoustic panels and wow, what a difference they make! As soon as I put them up in my home studio, the annoying echo and reverb issues I had were gone. Installation: Super easy setup. Everything I needed came right in the box, and the instructions were straight to the point. I had them up on my walls in no time. Effectiveness: Seriously, these panels are game changers. I record a lot of voice stuff and it's never sounded clearer. They knock out all those unwanted noises and echoes, making everything sound super crisp. Looks: Plus, they look awesome. The natural wood is a nice touch and really ups the vibe of my studio. They're not just practical, they also make the space look more put together. Review: Acoustic Guitar Wall Art Panels - These panels are awesome! I love how they look on my wall and they encourage a lot of inquiries from friends who come over. Everyone things they are great! I am giving this five stars as I read the tips from other buyers' comments to securely affix the panels so they don't fall off the wall. So far, so good.

Meh.
I misunderstood that this kit is something you have to assemble. You have to glue the wood cutouts to foam. So, the sides of each panel are just foam. I imagined from the listing that these were wood frames with foam filler, that you could hang like picture frames, but they were acoustic panels. This is a bunch of foam sheets and some laser cutouts in thin wood. Anyhow, I can't use these and would not suggest these. Sorry.

More decorative than sound treatment
I purchased these knowing that they will provide limited sound diffusion or absorption. I was looking more for some decorative highlights on my studio and am pairing these with some real sound absorbers. The pictures in the listing are misleading because they look much thicker and bigger than what these 11.5”x11.5” squares are. I chose to use a different higher quality double sided tape because the tape that comes with these panels is very thin and more like a foam tape. I also drilled two holes and used nails to attach them to the wall for easier removal instead of the adhesive. The packaging is good but they all have a slight bow in them. There is a recommendation by seller to let them sit 24 hours before assembling but I see no point in doing that because the panels are not compacted and don’t get any thicker in that time period. I was also disappointed that all of the edges are left unfinished instead of the black that I saw in other photos. There is a good and a bad side to the wood so make sure you look for chips and tear out from the routering. All of them did have a good side to them for the face side. Overall pretty good and add some nice decoration to the room. I will probably order a couple more sets to finish out the studio.
