Review: Quality parts for a very fair price - Using the complete bearing kit that I ordered along with the gears, the install was pretty straight forward. After about 4 mock ups, the gears went in fine. Even though I put a few hundred miles on the clock before towing, the temps got pretty high. I would say that before towing you should put over 500 miles on the odometer before towing. All is good now though. Temps 160 with 100 plus temps outside.

**Q: What install kit do I need for a 92 Chevy C1500?**
A: You will more than likely need the GM 3.73 Ratio/ GM 8.5” gear set. You have a 2wd so the ratio doesn’t matter a bunch, 3.73 is the most common. I changed all the internals of my 98 with these parts. They really didnt change em much throughout the years. Make sure you get 2 sets of new pinion bearings (1 set, inner races bored out to slide on and off easy for test fits, and 1 set for the actual final fit.) take your time and be very thorough. Look up EricTheCarGuy on youtube, he does an excellent video of exactly what you’re doing. Hope this helps.

A: You need to know what rear or front end you have. For instance a Ford 9” or a Gm 8.8” there are quite a few different ones out there then match whatever ratio was stock or there is a lot of options depending on what you would like the rig to do hope that helps

A: This would be correct for your application then for a 3.73 ratio
