I also used it on sliding side safety plates on front and rear doors and they engage smoothly and firmly into their locking positions. Key Yale/type door locks turn like silk now. It took me less than half an hour to oil all 30+ hinges, 2 barrel locks, 10 room door handles. Used about 20% of the oil so great for lasting a few years. Even better to buy two bottles for just one pound extra. Only one caveat. The instructions on how to open up the cap which covers the fine nozzle is “TURN CAP CLOCKWISE”.
