Better than I expected! The papers are nice and thick. Might be able to watercolor. I love the spiral bound. Very excellent color books. I wanted something to occupy my mind on an upcoming overnight flight. Will reorder!

It's not a cardboard thick front & back, it's flexible. I colored with alcohol markers and it kinda went thru. Lovely pictures.
