That price is overheating my brain not just my camera. **Q: why does the damn thing over heat so much?** A: Because the processor is working to pump out a huge amount of data. I bought it for diving in tropical Florida water that's 85 degrees and can't use it longer than 15 mins inside the dive case. In colder water in the 60s though it's doesn't shut off. Useless for me but fine for cooler waters. Its the most expensive paperweight I own. At $399 I wouldn't feel so mad though but at $500 this thing better work perfext longer than 15 mins in a case.
