Great product and easy to install. Every Ram 1500 owner should have these!
If you drive a Ram 1500 with coil springs and plan on hooking up a trailer with any kind of weight, these are a must. I love the Ram 1500 for how it drives without a load as a daily driver, but I do tow occasionally. By that I mean I tow a dump trailer(3-4 yards of mulch or stone) or a car trailer from time to time, with about 2-3 Tons of weight on there. My truck measures: Standing empty : 39", with a load it squatted it to 36". I have a 2013 Laramie which may have less clearance in the rear than others, but I did not use the 1" spacer since these almost touched the axle without it. After these were installed, i hooked up the same trailer loaded and they kept my truck at 37 1/2", and drove like you weren't even towing anything. I purposefully went down a bumpy windy road and there was no trailer sway and bumps were softened and dampened instantly. Here is a trick for installation since it is very tight and took about an hour and a half. Jack the truck up, secure it, and put the top brackets on with all the washers and nuts on the bolts. Once you get all the nuts on hand tightened, use a small socket wrench and a 1/2 " socket and tighten each nut about half way from the passenger side outside through the spring Driver side just under the truck, and spin the entire unit to tighten the next nut. Remember which one you started with as there is a specific way these go so they hit the axle properly. Once you get all 8 half tightened, you should be able to reach more than half of them with that same socket wrench. On the drivers side, there were two I had to use a small wrench and tighten a quarter turn each attempt, and those were a bit frustrating. But the Passenger side, I was able to reach them all with a small socket wrench, and there were two that I used a large socket wrench and an extension to get the wrench over the muffler. Overall it wasn't hard, just be patient. I will recheck in a week to make sure everything is still tight, but these things sandwich that jounce mount quite well. Overall I am very happy with the product. UPDATE: I have had these for a few months, and just towed a car from OH. Thanks to the SumoSprings, the trip was amazing with a trailer and a charger on that trailer. No sway no matter how bumpy the road, no major sag, and the truck sat level. These are so worth the money.

Awesome product
Worked great on our first trip out after I installed them. Eliminated the “squirely” sway the trailer had after I installed leveling struts.

Great improvement towing
Many people think these are the answer to poor truck springs and expect these to solve all of their issues. Fact is that they shouldn’t “lift” your truck or “increase payload”. These are easy to install with some patience, took me about an hour. I did NOT use the 1” spacer. When installed they do NOT touch the axel with 1/2” of space. My ride has not been bumpy or rough. These have GREATLY improved all aspects of towing. 3” less of sag when our TT is connected. Well worth the money. Would buy again

Use your truck like a truck.
Awesome little add for someone who wants to use their truck as a truck. The weekend warrior who hauls mulch or anything with a little weight. Trucks now adays have super week suspensions. This allows you to haul weight without squatting. Also great for pulling trailers. It rides about 3/4” above the axle when unloaded so it does not affect the normall ride quality like heavier springs will. Install was simple. Looks good and does the job.

Great product!
I bought these to help with the squat I had on my 2021 Ram 1500 when pulling my 28.5' travel trailer. They helped tremendously! I was concern that the ride would be to harsh when not pulling my trailer, but it wasn't. Installation was easy, although it took a little over an hour. One thing I noticed after I installed them was that there seemed to be less sway as well. The truck just seemed more stable. You really can't go wrong with Sumo Springs.

Jury is still out
Purchased these for a 2017 Ram Crew Laramie 4wd. I installed them as directed with the spacers. When lowered off the jacks, the Sumosprings were in contact with the axle with an unloaded truck. As soon as I test drove it, I knew the spacers had to come out. It was jouncing in the rear (pogo) on each bump. Completely unacceptable ride quality. I took them off, removed the spacer, and reinstalled. the unloaded ride was back to normal with a 1" gap between the Sumospring and the axle. I haven't had a load in yet. Installation was simple, but access to the bolts is miserable. Have a 1/2" ratcheting wrench in had or you will be there a long time.

Work great, cheaper and less expensive than airbags
Went with these over airbags. With the spacer it barely touches the axle plate. With my enclosed trailer it doesn’t sag at all. Without and the same trailer would make 2019 ram 1500 sag about 3-4 inches. It does make it hop a little over big bumps. I plan on putting a level kit that raises the rear and the front so not worried about it touching the axle plate. Some have installed without the spacer and the ride is like factory until you put a load on the truck. So far they work great.

Quick installation
Easy installation and my truck rides way smoother. Super happy with my purchase.

Really improved my ride. I carry a large flatbed tool box full of junk and my ride is less bouncy and a bit stiffer. A little bit of a pain doing up mounting bracket but worth the improvement. So far so good.

Bought these to upgrade the rubber bumpers while I raised and upgraded coil springs. Very easy to install when you already have the springs out of the way.

These were suggested to me by a shop instead of airbags and their requisite maintenance and cost. I went with them and am extremely pleased at the result. These did exactly as described and better than I expected. Will put them in any other truck I get too.

Work pretty good, they make your truck a bit rugged in the bush but all in all a good choice I think.
