This review has been updated after my customer service experience with Colamy. I was not prompted to update my review, but I felt compelled to when David from their customer service team reached out and offered to send me a new chair since my original one did not ship with instructions and I felt the arm rests were flimsy. When I explained I could not send the original back because I already chucked the box and am very busy, he said they'd just send me a new one anyway. Love to see customer service like that. I left him unread in my inbox for weeks too and he still got back to me in under 24hours. I also want to note that my girlfriend thinks the chair is very comfortable and she suffers from traumatic back injuries that make it difficult for her to sit in just about any computer chair for long periods of time. Somehow the lumbar support is just right for her. She does use a purple mattress pad for every chair she sits in and is approximately 5'8". Your mileage will vary, finding the right chair is more about your individual body type and habits, there is no one-size fits all. I've come to enjoy sitting in it more over time as well--or at least I can say that I find myself with better habits and I'm mildly less sore after long work sessions than in my old chair--so I'm really happy she and I don't need to share it anymore. I still find that the roll-off area of the mesh feels a little less soft than I'd like, but I don't find it exhausting when I'm sitting for a long time. I'm a 6' 200lb guy with a longer torso. I'm updating this review based on the assumption that the next chair they ship will be at least as good as the first. My original review is below and I haven't changed my opinion on each individual point. That said, it's decent enough that I likely won't replace it until I'm ready to spend between $500-$1000, so given the price of this chair and the customer service I think it deserves 5 Stars. Not the best, but it punches above it's price class. *ORIGINAL REVIEW* Didn't ship with instructions, mesh bottom isn't quite taught enough to make your legs feel comfortable in a normal seating position, the head rest is comfy and doesn't get in the way, and foot rest would be great if it was just a little longer and more padded. That other person who said the armrests feel cheap was dead on. Might remove em. They are well padded, but they feel like they came out of an American car in the 90s.

Hi, this chair was good. But my main purpose was not fulfilled as I have a chronic pack pain at L4 L5. Lumbar support was not working. When I fix the lumber support it’s keep coming down. It’s not fixed at the position I set basically defect in product I think. Can you help solve this issue. I am experiencing increased the back pain now.

After spending a good amount of time using the COLAMY Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair, I can confidently say that this has been one of the best upgrades I've made to my home office. Whether I'm gaming, browsing the web, or sitting at my desk for several hours, this chair has remained incredibly comfortable and supportive. The first thing I noticed was the overall build quality. Everything feels solid and well put together, and once assembled, the chair feels sturdy with very little wobble. It gives the impression of being a much more expensive chair than it actually is. Comfort is where this chair really shines. The mesh back keeps air flowing, which helps keep me cool during long sessions instead of getting hot and sweaty like some cushioned chairs I've owned in the past. The seat is well-padded and provides plenty of support without feeling too firm or too soft. Even after sitting for extended periods, I don't find myself constantly shifting around trying to get comfortable. One of my favorite things about this chair is how adjustable it is. There are so many ergonomic features that make it easy to customize the chair to fit your body and sitting style. Being able to adjust different parts of the chair makes it easy to find a comfortable position whether I'm working or relaxing. The rollerblade-style wheels I installed pair perfectly with this chair as well. They glide effortlessly across my carpet, making it much easier to move around my desk than the standard casters I used before. My only minor complaint—and this really isn't a fault of the chair—is the headrest. I'm a shorter person (a proud short king), so even after adjusting it, the headrest sits a little higher than where my head naturally rests. If you're taller, I honestly think the headrest will line up perfectly. Since this comes down to my height rather than the chair's design, it doesn't take away from my overall experience. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase. The comfort, ergonomic adjustments, breathable mesh, sturdy construction, and overall quality make this chair an excellent value. It's comfortable enough for long workdays and long gaming sessions, and it feels like a chair that will last for years. If you're looking for a comfortable, feature-packed ergonomic office chair without spending a fortune, I highly recommend the COLAMY Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair. It's one of those purchases that makes you wonder why you didn't upgrade sooner.

First, the chair was SUPER easy to assemble. I was able to put it together under 30 minutes. Second, you can see and feel the good quality of each piece before you put it together. I’ve only purchased ergonomic chairs around $100-$150 in the past and you can definitely tell the clear difference with this one. Third and most importantly, the chair is super comfortable. I bought this for my brother, who spends hours on the computer, and he loves it! The footrest is also an added bonus and a great feature to switch posture while sitting for a long time.
