## Description

From the inventors of the oil filled category comes a revolutionary new design that effectively and efficiently heats room air by convection and also has 25% more radiant surface to quickly heat people in the room. The new heater design features thermal chimneys to provide maximum heating while ensuring a low surface temperature, making the radiator a nice choice for homes with pets or kids. The user-friendly control panel offers an adjustable thermostat and variable heat settings to customize your heating needs and optimize energy-efficient operation. For added energy savings it also features a 24-hour programmable timer. The anti-freeze setting allows the unit to automatically turn on when the temperature drops below 44 degrees F. Safety highlights include rust-resistant durable metal construction, a modern design, and a thermal cut-off function that automatically turns the heater off if it starts to overheat.

Review: The perfect space heater - This fall, our furnace went out and it was going to be several weeks while we waited for a new heat exchanger to arrive. It was the end of October - early November in the northeast so days were cool and nights were well below freezing. I had an older DeLonghi oil radiator furnace and really liked the even heat they provide and no fan noise. I decided I needed a couple more portable heaters to keep the house warm while we waited for the furnace to be fixed. I purchased two of these heaters and I have no regrets. The older DeLonghi heater had a dial thermostat with 1-10, and it was always difficult to tell where to set it to keep the room comfortable. The old heater would also have a very noticeable click when the thermostat kicked on or off. This new model has eliminated those issues! The digital thermostat is perfect and takes out the guesswork. I set the temperature to 65 and it heats the room to 65. There are some popping noises from the oil starting to circulate when the heater is first turned on, but those go away after about 10 minutes, and it is virtually silent after that. This heater is perfect if you need to supplement heat in a colder room of the house. In fact, now that our furnace is working again I have relocated these heaters to rooms that always stay a little cooler (one in a room over the garage, and one in the basement). These two heaters (along with the older oil radiator heater) kept our 2200 sq ft house comfortable even when temperatures dipped into the lower 20s. I like the look of these compared to the old unit too. It doesn't look as much like a radiator as the fins are hidden by aluminum slats. It's not a beautiful piece of furniture, but it's functional design. Some people feel like a heater must glow bright red and blast out heat like a jet afterburner. This is not that type of heater, nor does it pretend to be. This heater provides a slow even heat that will easily warm up a small room in minutes, while being quiet and safe to the touch. UPDATE: I notice a lot of reviews complaining about some of the odd sounds. Here's my experience. The heater will definitely make some pings and cracks when it is first turned on, and that can be unsettling if you're not expecting it. This is caused by thermal expansion. The unit is at room temperature and when it is turned on the parts of the heater warm up and expands. These sounds subside after the unit has been running for 5-10 minutes. I have also noticed some distinct clicking when the thermostat turns on or off. This is more annoying in a quiet room, and isn't really noticeable if you have any sort of background noise. I have found noticed the clicking is more prevalent when the power level is set to LOW. If I set the power level to HIGH the clicking is still there, but instead of every couple of minutes it might be every 10 or 20 minutes. This is just a guess, but maybe it's because the unit has more ways to cycle when the power is at high (high-med-low-off) vs. low (low-off), and maybe the loudest click is when the thermostat kicks off or comes back on, but setting the power level to high definitely seems to help.
Review: Works for finished basements - Excellent for a finished basement or the lower level of a split ranch that tends to get chilly in winter. Our HVAC heating has to be cranked in winter just to feel slightly comfortable down here, but then it gets much to hot upstairs, so we resort to wearing a lot of clothes and shoes instead. My husband has even worn his winter hats while being in his office, that is how cold it gets in the lower level of our split ranch. Not anymore! This heater did the trick. I set it to high wattage at 75 degrees for 1 hour to begin warming up the room (after gassing off for 2 hours outside). I placed it in the 21'x11' room with a 9'x7' bathroom attached. The bathroom door was left open. The other issue with this ]room is that it is connected to the door that leads into the unheated laundry/furnace room. From that point there is a door leading outside, so we get a really bad draft from this part of the house. Even with this issue, the room kept very warm at 72 degrees set to medium wattage.I chose to turn it down to 72 degrees and the lowest wattage and it seemed to be just right for keeping it comfortable. I then moved the heater into a different office space downstairs to see what setting would work best in there. The room is actually 2 rooms connected together with an open wall, so it is oddly shaped, like a "U". The overall measurement is probably around 22'x 19. The heater is currently set to 72 at the lowest wattage. The air is nice and warm, although the floors still have a chill, but that is unavoidable with tile floors right over concrete. They do seem less chilly than usual though. I may put down some carpet tiles to help keep the floor warmer for winter. I will be buying another heater so that both rooms will have one. It is likely we will be able to turn the heater down a tad bit more once we have a good flow of heat from both sides of the house. No more cold noses, fingers, legs and frozen feet. I was literally freezing at the legs and feet to the point where It was to unbearable to be in my office space, which also serves as a home school, recording studio, gym and crafting room. You cannot home school a child or create art in the cold, it only serves as a distraction from our work. These heaters are excellent for supplemental heat, but I am not sure about unheated basements. The heater is super quiet! Perfect for my needs. We are recording musicians and cannot have noisy appliances when we're working down here. Now and then you hear a click when heat is kicking back on, but it's not bothersome. In fact, I wish my HVAC was this quiet. With the extra heat, it is likely we will be able to keep the overall temp lower so that the system doesn't constantly kick on. This is just a temporary solution for us until we hire a company to come in and install a gas insert into our useless fireplace down here. Very pleased with this product.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it make any noise (when turning on or off) like a noticable "click" or any other kind of noise?**
A: As many other customers acknowledged, it does make occasional faint clicking noises that are not an issue for me. As it heats up, my unit makes a fairly loud popping noise. It only happens as the oil is heating up or, sometimes when cooling down. I don't think somebody on the other end of a phone call could hear it. The noise frequently catches me by surprise and startles me, but it's still not an issue.

**Q: Can it be set to go on automatically (say at 6am) every day?**
A: Copied from an answer to a similar question: A: You can only program it to turn on after a set number of hours not at a certain time. If you want the heater to turn on at 6:00 am, then at 10:00 pm the night before with the unit off, ( heater must be off in order to set the heater to turn on ) touch the timer switch, timer icon will display and using the + or - to increase or decrease the hours displayed set it for 8 hours and the heater will turn on 8 hours later or 6:00 am. If you want the heater to turn off in 2 hours, with the heater running ( heater must be operating in order to set it to shut off ) press the timer and using the the + or - set the hours displayed to 2 hours, basic but effective. see less

**Q: How do you program this heaters 24 hour timer for more than 1 setting a day.**
A: This unit allows timing of "ON" or "OFF". Selection is made and up to 12 hours can be selected. For example, IF unit is ON , timer can be set to turn OFF at a time YOU select. CHANGES IN TEMPERATURE DESIRED AT A FUTURE TIME CAN NOT BE MADE.

**Q: Does it come back on after a power failure**
A: Hello, this unit will need to be manually restarted in the case of a power failure. Thank you.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice heater
*by T***P on March 31, 2026*

Works quite well, the surrounding floor and wall did not get hot and so I don’t think there was a risk of fire. Apparently these oil filled radiators are much safer than the ceramic ones. The digital programming was simple. It didn’t require an advanced degree to understand.
