ラジオで流れていた曲があまりに心に響いて、ラジコで番組を聞き直して、ライトヒアウエーティングという名曲を知りました。何故今まで聴いた事がなかったのか、不思議！？即CDを購入しました。本当にメロディーが美しいです。他のバラードの曲も良かったです。でも残念な事が....。作品のレビューでハスキーな声がいいと書かれていましたが、私にはザラザラした耳障りの悪い声でした。全てがそんな声ではありませんが、時々ザラザラ声になって、雑音みたいな感じで。その点だけがとても残念です。

聴きたい曲の詰め合わせ。リチャードマークスの全盛期が好きな人には向いてる。音楽は衣装と同じで他人に勧めても合う合わないがあるので難しい。まずはYouTubeで聴いてみるのが得策かと

Do you know? I bought this completely blind. I hadn't even heard of Richard Marx. I don't know what prompted me to get it but I'm glad I did. What an absolute gem! As far as I am concerned, every song is a winner - especially Children of the Night - the only downside is they stay with you throughout the day and if you don't like songs running through your head you might get annoyed (but in a good way). I'm definitely going to look at some of his other stuff but surely it can't all be this good?
