This works after making slots wider. BUT this voids the warranty. I bought unit, used for months, then adapted it to fit. **Q: Can anyone verify the max depth drives that fit? some of the 3tb-4tb 2.5" drives are over the typical 7-9mm but can reach 15mm thick. will these fit?** A: Measuring the slots on mine indicates it should fit up to a 12.5mm drive. It will not fit 15mm thick drives. **Q: What is the maximum capacity HDD can you use?** A: I have four Samsung 870QVO drives installed - two 2TB and two 4TB. The unit works flawlessly in this configuration.
