This Zakuson Mother-in-Law Mustard is famed for its intense heat. There might be a modicum of sweetness in there, but it's almost completely buried under the scorch, salt, and acid flavors.

Does it contain gluten?

The label says it contains mustard powder, water, distilled white vinegar, sugar, salt, cornstarch, citric acid, oil of mustard, caramel coloring.

What are the ingredients?

First off, this is a mustard for "serious connoisseurs" of quality strong mustard. Ingredients noted on the label" water, mustard flower, soya oil, white sugar, salt , citric acid, caramel colour, flavour.

Can anyone tell me if this brand includes sugar and honey for a touch of sweet to the spice?

As I differ from the other responses, this is one of the better mustards I've tried !!!If you would like it with a touch of sweetness just add...no biggie !!!! I did this with a ham adding maple syrup and sweet cherries....It was marvelous !!!I found this mustard through the travel channel (Andrew Zimmren) I'd give it a shot !!!
