She is very petite, so I needed small weights that could be tightened up well. These work perfectly for her. They are a bit bulky for a small 5 year old, but the fit well and are able to be tightened enough that they are nice and snug. She says that they are comfortable, and that they don’t hurt or rub on her ankles. I wanted to add wrist weights for walk/hike plus workout. I have Bala that I use for ankles and while they are great I don't love them for the wrist so much.
