It's for a cheap transistor radio, works fine.

One of the few antenna that I found that had a 7mm diameter base which made it an ideal candidate to repair my very old (1981) JVC portable radio cassette. While FM reception has been partially restored, there is no denying that it is not as good as it was with the original antenna before they got broken off. On balance, the poor reception could equally be down to the age of the radio and generally poor FM reception in the locality. In any event, reception is better with these antenna fitted than without.

Does what is required & works well

This product didn’t fit my pure mi radio but I was able to use the lower part of my original aerial to adapt it so it fitted. The fact that it didn’t fit was my fault for not checking and not due to the product.Once fitted it worked perfectly.

As another reviewer observed. The hole at the base for fixing it to a radio is too small. I've got plenty of tiny screws at home, none of them would fit.

After using my radio with a coat hanger as an antenna for many years ,its nice not to have interference ,crackling while listening in my workshop .Great for a small price.

Expected thread on one of the units both had flat plate

to short for my use but sturdy
