True Woman 101: Divine Design: An Eight-Week Study on Biblical Womanhood (True Woman) Paperback – February 21, 2012

My Women's Bible Study group is currently going through this study and I am loving it! The way Nancy and Mary make it so personal easy to understand, yet right to the point. You will either be shouting Hallelujah for God's truth and revelation or mad for the same reason. A definite eye opener to saten and this worlds lies we (I) the church have taken in, hook line and sinker.

My Bible study class chose this book for this semester and it’s been a wonderful journey. I’ve learned so much about God and my role as woman and wife. Definitely worth the time invested in it

This workbook was actually purchased for my adult unmarried college age daughter for her Titus 2 discipleship class. I decided to sit down and read what this group was going to be discussing and teaching my daughter as to what the bible has to say about her purpose and role as a female child of God. Well I was pleasantly surprised to find the workbook well written and full of great insight, information and scripture references. It pointed out and explained in detail the intended design God meant for women and that it wasn't to be chief bottle washer, cook and maid of the household. It brought clarification to a lot of opinions that get batted around the Christian community about a woman's place in the home, and put into perspective the godly meaning of what it is to be a helpmate. I wish more Christians would take the time to read this workbook as I found it to provide a much clearer understanding of scripture as applied to women

This has facilitated great discussion with a small group of friends [5 of us total]...the individual days are best taken as a WHOLE each week - very encouraging as it all builds on itself. The complementary videos on the site are also great! YOU GET OUT OF IT WHAT YOU PUT IN! Let's pursue godliness, ladies...we are the fragrance of Christ - life to some, death to others, and this study definitely helps to show the contrast of biblical womanhood vs. what the world is trying to tell is right/normal. We are DIFFERENT than the world, let's live like it!The only reason I gave a 4 was due to the odd formatting of the Kindle version. Wasn't bad, but compared to the actual, physical copy, I would recommend the physical one.

We are using this study for our Bible Study this year and the ladies love it. These two authors have written other books and they are some of our favorite authors. Even though this study was written in 2012 it is very prevalent for today. Any woman who struggles with her identity as a woman will really appreciate what these two authors share Biblically on the subject. You will know that God values you and His plan for you was intentional. The pages are nice and thick and very colorful. The questions are not that difficult to answer and yet they encourage you to read in your Bible. The Bible is our authority. Can't wait to get to the True Woman 201 Bible Study.

I have not finished this study yet, but it is eye opening. I have been struggling with my purpose in life and through this study have come to realize that I have a grand purpose in just being a woman, and that it is also so much more than it sounds. It is intricate and God purposefully made me and my husband the way He did. I have wanted to skip ahead so many times but force myself to stay in the timeline so that I can really absorb everything these amazing women of God have been inspired to tell me.The website with the videos is such and added bonus. Feel like I know the authors and their hearts so well by watching the companion videos. I even started watching the True Woman conference videos... I can't get enough!

Have been a born and raised Christian, I have mixed reviews about this study. It did made me look at some issues in a different light and it did make me think about a lot of things that I have never considered - which is what I expect from a study. I like the format of the study. it is a daily plan, with questions and fill in the blanks at various points in the lessons. It also has a good recap at the end of each week. I did this study with a single female friend who is a very new Christian and there were a lot of concepts that were confusing, as well as disheartening to her. Overall, I think this is a good study, but go into it very prayerfully that God reveals what HE wants.

I am a life coach and mentor to women for over 20 years and this is on my Top 10 list of MUST READS! This is the best material for understanding gender and especially Womanhood. Easy to read, beautiful pages and photos. I can't say enough about the gentle way Mary and Nancy explain how we got were we are in our womanhood. I have used this study and the 201 with almost 100 women and have not had a negative review! There is also so much free material and videos on their online site. True Woman 101 is a MUST for anywoman that wants to know how God designed them!
