Perfect Duffle Bag
I love the Thule Duffle Bag. A different shape when it flat, but then conforms the a duffle with a lot of room. The best duffle that I have ever owned, perfect. If you don’t fill it all the way, it can be used as a carry-on bag. I highly recommend this Thule Duffle Bag.

Well made with thoughtful features
Got this as a gift for my husband and he LOVES it. Lots of great features and the blue/orange combo is awesome. He has the matching backpack which he also loves. They’re incredibly functional, sturdy bags that seem like they will last a lifetime. Highly recommend.

Smart looking and really well made
When this bag arrived it was all flattened and shapeless in its box and took us awhile to figure out just how cool it really is. The interior is huge with a pair of retention straps to secure your clothing. It has two large side pockets for shoes that can extend into the main interior if room allows. The dual zipper openings are always a must. And it has zippered mesh pockets on the inside as well as one on the exterior. The exterior handles allow you to carry it as horizontally or vertically. The shoulder padded strap can be attached two different ways depending how you want to carry it. I love its burgundy sheen with the almost reddish-colored handles and zippers. The bright orange interior is really bright but appears waterproof. The thing screams durable. The duffle is part of a Thule luggage set that includes a smaller duffle, a rolling duffle and two different sized backpacks that can purchased separately. Now, the price. My mother used to own a luggage store and often people would balk at the cost of something other than Samsonite. When she pointed out that a well built piece of luggage is something that will last years, even decades, people listened. Unless you are looking for a fashion accessory, luggage should be a one time purchase. Cost and length of use will always justify the price. This is the new weekend and/or ski bag in our house.

Well constructed bag good for a half-week's worth of clothing but design is too awkward to carry by shoulder straps
Thule is an exceptional brand but I find the ergonomics of this bag disappointing.THE GOOD:- It is exceptionally well made and the color looks like a rich burgundy to me which is attractive.- The bag has wide-mouth access for the main compartment with internal compression straps to secure clothing to the bottom.- There are two slightly expandable gusseted pockets on either side to store shoes or other items.- In the main compartment, there is a front mesh pocket for storing papers, keys, etc.- In the back of the main compartment, is another mesh pocket. This pocket has both inside and outside access.- There's a mesh ID slot in the back of the bag; it would have been nice if Thuile provided a blank ID card with it.- The main compartment zipper pulls have loops through which a small lock can be placed.- The shoulder strap has two possible positions depending on where it is affixed.- There are also two handles on the side and two handles on top for carrying if one does not want to use the padded shoulder strap. The shape this bag reminds me of my former Mazda Miata trunk shape and looks like an X-cargo roof storage container similar to this Thule Cargo Box. However, when fully packed it turns into the image you see on Amazon, like a large football without the pointy sides. If not fully packed, its shape is more flattened and trunk like. This is a well-constructed bag but what I do not like is that it is awkward to carry by the straps because the design is odd. In addition, it is too bulky and large as a carry-on and will need to be checked baggage on an airplane. It is also not large enough for more that a few days clothes. The main reason I rated this 3 stars is due to the awkward design and how uncomfortable it is to me to use the shoulder straps no matter where I place them.

Thule Knows Outdoors, This Bag is a Thule
Yes, I am a bag kind of guy. I love bags. Big bags, little bags...I would classify this as a big bag. It is big enough, when full, it can easily hold more than how much I want to carry. 60L--60 liters, is pretty darn big. Thule (I pronounce it tool-ee, although I have little acquaintance with Swedish) makes very fine outdoor equipment. I have one of their backpacks. Did I say this bag is big? I tried to load it up on a trip to visit the grandson. Two baseball gloves, two baseballs, three large books, a couple of cans of soda for me in one of the side pockets. A smaller book, moisturizer, and a dumbbell I no longer use in the other side pocket. Still lots of room left over. I love that there are rings for the shoulder strap in several locations on the bag, so you can rig it according to what is in it, and how you are going the carry it. The material is strong, tough. The color is rich. The carry handles are a little weird. I expected traditional handles to carry the bag in basically the same position as it is with the shoulder strap, but they are sort of side handles. Weird but useful. Highly recommended.
