For some strange reason, it took me three years since learning about earthing from a family friend (I didn't watch the earthing documentary yet), to finally purchase this. I don't know why it took me so long especially after telling friends about it then later hearing how it improved their lives...I just took it out of the box finally and checked for a grounding outlet (I love how this kit provides EVERYTHING and a book!) and stood on it. I immediately felt tingles all over my body and a sense of calm wash over me. It felt incredible but in a subtle way, if that makes any sense.I went over to my dog who was trying to get comfy for the night, picked her up and laid her on the mat to see if she felt anything - wow, she instantly got comfy and relaxed as if it was hers (which ain't her MO). She didn't budge; but because the mat was in the doorway, I asked her to get off it and she reluctantly did. I moved it across the room to plug into a different grounded outlet and she followed me closely then plopped perfectly onto it, which by the way, was in an area she doesn't usually sleep! She fell asleep in seconds, I tell you! SECONDS. Animals simply know things as they're always tapped into Mother Nature, so I trust my fur baby's instincts.Tbh, I'm surprised there are quite a few skeptics in the reviews saying they didn't feel a thing. Maybe for them it just needs to take a while. I can see how some people might think they feel nothing because you really have to be fully attentive of your entire body in order to feel anything at all. It feels like an energy transfer.Anyway, I immediately got onto Amazon to order more but they're sold out / not in stock. Went directly to the website and promptly ordered two more kits for family. As I write this review, my dog is deep in her dreams and practically snoring. Going to set up the 2nd mat on my bed and see what happens tonight and on. Shall update in time. :)

Love these mats! So convenient to slide under the sheets. Easy to pack for travel.My husband and I can definitely feel a difference in our body aches after sleeping on these.

I am new to grounding. After reading about it, I figured if half of it is true and helps, why not see what it is all about. I bought these mats for my husband and myself. Easy to use. I appreciated the tool to make sure the outlet was correct. We have been using them for two weeks now. I immediately felt tingling in the bottom of my feet. My husband did not. At this point I think its more like a vibration sensation. My husband now feels tingling. I feel better. More relaxed and focused. I sleep better. My husband doesn't have the restless legs in bed like he used to. His knee also give him issues so he has been wrapping the mat around his bare knee and swears it is making it better. I will continue to use these mats. I think they are really grounding and healing us. Our doggies also like to lay on them.

Used this mat for sleeping or when just laying down in bed.Pros:* Effective at what it does, I can feel some tingling sensations too sometimes (nothing like static, it's like a pleasant humm or small jitters on the body).* I've also given it to family members and they seem to have reduced inflamation on parts of their body and reported better sleep.* Has very long cable to reach even a very far outlet.Cons:* Mat materials can stick to your skin from prolonged use and if you're using this as you sleep and toss/turn a lot the mat can fold or bend and have permanent fold marks afterwards. If you toss/turn severely and depending where you place the mat, you might even be able to push the mat off and unground yourself.* Mat is not too large, this could be a pro if you're trying to fit it on a seat or small desk but at the same time the material is kind of thick and doesn't flatten itself easily unless pressure is applied and then again you run the risk of making permanent fold marks on the mat.Final Remarks:This mat works great but due to the mat materials I decided to look for another grounding mat and settled on getting the Earth & Moons and the mat material there is much better and they have a size thats much bigger too but their cord to plug into an outlet is much shorter than this mat and also the placement for the plug on the Earth & Moons mat is on a somewhat awkward spot. So literally I think its just the mat materials that drop this from being a 5 star product but still very good.

I have now purchased these 3 different times. Once for myself, one for work, then for my spouse, and for the grand parents for Christmas. I found out about these from watching the Earthing documentary and my curiosity was peaked. I have used them for about a year and they absolutely do work. The outlet plug testers worked like they should, and when I put my voltmeter to the pad when it was plugged in, it was in fact showing it to be grounded. Buyer must beware that there is a lot of different type of grounding brands out there, some a lot cheaper, and a lot of them are snake oil. I recommend this product because I have tested all the ones I purchased myself and can verify they are legit.
