Great styling product with a nice scent. Love that it doesn't have any bad chemicals in it. I have fine and thin hair and this product works great at holding the style without weighing it down.

I love this organic hair gel, Feels & smells great has a lemongrass kinda scent, It don't have all of those toxic chemicals like the other hair gels, It's 100% organic & keeps your hair feeling & smelling great.

I’m in a using non-toxic products phase in my life since I got sick almost 1.5 years ago. I want to replace everything we use in my house. Everything has something that’s toxic to your body. I bought this repair cleansing gel because it didn’t have any listed ingredients flagged by EWG or Clearya. If flagging of the ingredients didn’t appear, I searched the ingredients one by one in the ewg site to ensure it was in the “green” zone. The gel has a strong herbal scent. It has nice slip which is necessary for my curls (3b/c). The only downside is it has no hold. I applied the gel after light spraying my hair with water and applied a light leave in. The tops of my hair had a lot of flyaways right after applying the gel. I wasn’t a fan of it because it’s not doing its job. If the gel worked, I would have tolerated the scent

This product works better than expected. I used this product on clean minimally styled 3c/4a Black female hair that is about shoulder length. It advertised for use on both wet and dry hair but due to its water like consistency I deemed it best to attempt on dry hair first. It has a strong smell but fades to a lighter smell after the product is completely dry. This product is pretty pricey but I feel it is worth the money. I have tried countless gels and this is the only one that 1. Last more than a few hours 2. Lays down my edges 3.dosent flake or itch.

I love that this hair gel USDA Certified Organic. The feel of it is of a light/thin consistency and does not have a thick, sticky feeling like regular hair gel does. Because it is on the thin side and goes a long way as far as coverage on your hair is concerned, I can see this 8 oz. bottle lasting a long time. I was not expecting it give my hair a super hold as it is all natural and organic after all but it does however give my hair a nice enough hold to style my hair by just simply running my fingers through it. It does not weigh my hair down either which is exactly what I wanted with my fine silky hair. It also does not leave a white residue that regular hair gel sometimes leave. It gives my hair enough hold without looking like I purposely put gel in it and does not give you that helmet overdone look. It looks natural. As far as scent, it smells as I expected, like essential oils which is unnoticeable after applying. It’s not overpowering. I took a star off because I think it would be more convenient and efficient in a pump bottle for control. With the squeeze bottle I find a little too much may come out with just one squeeze depending on the amount of pressure I’m using. It’s a little pricey for hair gel at $13.95 a pop but it’s worth it in my opinion if organic is what you’re looking for. So all in all it’s a pretty decent hair gel for being organic and I will most likely re-purchase when this bottle is finished.

I should have noticed by the ingredients this gel couldn’t be scent free. Rather, it is strongly scented with a musky smell. Might be a natural ingredient…but it’s still fragrant! Buyer beware.

I love this product. No residue, no crunch. Great for wavy hair. Leaves hair silky feeling. Smells good! It's not a strong hold but it's perfect thinner hair that's wavy.
