The product is formulated to restore the shine of marble compromised by acid substances, scratches or other dullness. It is suitable for small interventions (max 1 m2). Even a single stain can be eliminated without necessarily having to act on the entire surface. It works perfectly only on very carbonate stones (with calcium carbonate mineral content greater than 80%). Granites, quartzites, all siliceous stones (or stones with low carbonate content) and some green marbles cannot be polished to a mirror finish with this kit. For this type of stones, a specific kit for granite is recommended (e.g. Virginia TU kit). Warnings: Stains absorbed deep into the stone, such as oil stains or colored stains, cannot be removed with this kit. Recommendations: in the event of an unsatisfactory result, it is advisable to repeat all the work again following the prescribed phases more scrupulously. Yields: the duration of diamond abrasives can be estimated at a few square metres, but much depends on how they are used. The polishing powder has a yield of 1 m2 for each 60 gram sachet. I had scratches and rust stains in my marble. I spent two months working a small area because it just is like sandpaper and you have to take it down lower than the stain to remove it. Its just time consuming but it gets the job done. I screwed up at first going in lines straight back and forth like sanding. That is bad, make sure you go different directions and small circles, alternating directions and oscillatiing. I did use a different polish at the end because the white powder just didnt cut it for me. but this method beat buying a new double marbled sink top. ### ⭐ doesn't work *by M***K on August 14, 2023* Didn't return the the original finish to the marble counter top. I didn't really notice any change at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall the product is good and I almost achieved wanted result *by I***Y on November 16, 2018* The reason that I give only 4 stars is because of the polishing powder, the powder was in unequal and there were small stones in it, so I had to filter the powder in order to get very fine powder.
