Love the belt, but I ordered it too large

This belt is very attractive, well made, and appears high quality. It pairs well with a semi-fitted dress, adding a slimming effect. And I love the way it coordinates with my cowboy boots. While standing still the overall vibe of the belt is great! BUT… unfortunately the belt’s clasp does not fasten securely given the very short length of its metal post and the weight of the belt itself. Even before leaving my bedroom the belt fell off twice (while putting on my shoes and again when bending to pick something up from the floor). I’m hoping it will be possible to make the clasp work better if I bend the metal post to be at more of an angle… A few small adjustments might change my 3-star impression to a 5-star rating… However, as it’s made now, there’s no way I could keep the belt closed for a full outing (especially if going dancing).

I really wanted this belt but unfortunately it doesn’t stay locked in. If you move the wrong way it just comes undone. Very disappointed.
