It’s not the smell, it’s the oil, which can be quickly absorbed through cats’ skin if exposed to it (say by rubbing up against a spot that was recently sprayed with something that contains a cat-toxic oil) but their livers cannot get rid of those toxins, so essential oils can cause liver damage or even liver failure in large quantities. **Q: Does this product have expiration date** A: There is a date printed on the side of the bottle (mine is 3/2024) which I presume to be an expiration date.
