Clear instructions. Great packaging. Absolutely beautiful set! It took me, by myself, as long to build as watching all 8 movies consecutively.If you’re thinking about buying this, you need to!I’m sad I’m done with it but it’s so incredibly stunning I’d build it all over again. Definitely appreciate all the extra little pieces. My only issue with this set is that it’s over and complete 😭. It is absolutely massive so have some place beautiful to display it!I do appreciate that both halves connect and disconnect easily making it a lot easier to move to its permanent home 😍❤️

It's a bit pricey but it looks great when it's all put together and it will keep any lego enthusiasts busy for days..

Amazing set one of a kind

Building this Lego set was an absolute blast! I immersed myself in the wizarding world of Harry Potter by watching all the movies while constructing it. It took around 23 hours (give or take) to complete, but every minute was pure joy. This set has quickly become my top favorite among all my Legos. If you're a Harry Potter fan like me, I highly recommend adding this enchanting set to your collection.

So it took me most of two days to build this and my fingers were absolutely raw when I was done but it was worth the effort and super fun to build.If you don't know, this is Lego's second largest set behind the millennium falcon which is only a bit larger but WAY more expensive. The completed build actually splits in half to better move it.There was a previous "Hogwarts castle" set years ago but it was nowhere near this level. This thing looks unmistakably like Hogwarts castle to anyone that looks at it...very accurate.If I had to nitpick I would say that while the outside is super detailed, because of the scale being different than most sets (this is more micro scale) the interiors can be a bit abstract from what most are used to. It used the really tiny figures (other than the house founders). The stickers included in the set are what really helps sell what each room is, providing the necessary details. A few of the rooms are not exactly where they would be if this were the real Hogwarts castle which was also true for the Simpsons house set. Finally, there is quite a chunk of the building missing on the right side which is a bummer but I can't imagine this set being any larger and if it were any smaller detail would be lost so I can't complain too much.

First if you are looking for an EXACT replica of Hogwarts this is a LEGO kit. It won't be exactly the same.But they do a great job getting there. I bought this because I am putting together a scenario with a Hogwarts Express and wanted this to use in the background.One one side you get the external side of Hogwarts (including a stained glass look in many of the windows, a neat surprise). It has many of the areas from the movies. The Great Hall, The Chamber of Secrets (with Basilisk), Moving staircases, Dumbledore's Office, Potions classroom, Defense against the Dark Arts Classroom ... even Umbridge's Pink Office. Add on items include Hagrid's Hut, The Whomping Willow (with car) and boats to travel to Hogwarts.Figures it has some unique ones. In the mini-figures (what I consider normal LEGO size) there are the four founders of Hogwarts. But then there are over 30 "micro-figures" (maybe 1/2" in size) of Harry, Hermione, Ron, Snape, Dumbledore, Malfoy, Umbridge, and a variety of other Harry Potter characters. Good for setting the scene but probably not a good thing to play with if you are a kid.I give it 5 stars because the only way you could improve it would be to add lights - which LEGO doesn't do (but other companies provide kits. Looks great with the lights).As an adult I picked this up as a Harry Potter fan. I found out through Facebook two other adults are doing the same model. The price is not for the faint of heart but it is a really complex. What you would expect for about 6000 pieces.Definitely glad I did this.

This is by far one of the greatest LEGO sets I ever build. I’m in seventh grade and I need something to keep me entertained. I loved building LEGO sets once I was in second grade so I think this was going to be a good set. When I got it the box was huge. I started building it one they delivered my package. I wasn’t to hard or to easy to make it. It took about 20 hours to build in total. It was a great leaning experience and the perfect level for building. I have trouble paying attention in class and I’m not really that interested in learning but this was actually fun. Maybe the price was high but it was worth it. The set is pretty big comparing it to other LEGO Harry Potter sets.i have this on display in My room for a while and it still looks very good. The details look just like the real one but too many stickers. There is about three full pages of stickers. I would definitely recommend to any one who needs entertainment during the pandemic.
